The BEST everyday or special occassion dinnerware

I bought the dinnerware (dinner plates) in the Audun Ferm to go with my existing Audun Promenade. I absolutely adore this pattern of which you can mix and match so easily. This V&B is so durable. I have had some rice bowls now for years and they refuse to chip or scratch, and I use them daily. I have the salad plates, Teapot, Soup Tureen and individual handled bowls, a gravy plate ( small ) and a 13" serving plate and 2 teacups ( for guests who like a real teacup). Get them on sale when you can...and Macys is the only store I trust when it comes to buying V&B. Great stuff!

Villeroy & Boch Audin Fleur Dinner Plate

When I viewed these on line with the dinner plates having the inner design I was unsure if the color was the same but was pleasantly surprised to find it was. They go so well together. I can hardly wait to purchase more and use them to entertain. I'm so glad I got them and at a good price on sale too. Exceptional quality. I like being able to mix them.

We had bought this set many years ago and purchased some additional pieces to replace some items broken ver the years. We like the style and quality of this dinnerware and how well it holds up. The replacement pieces look as good as the original pieces that we had purchased.

Love these plates!

We bought the whole set and love it! The plates are a great size and the pattern is wonderful!! They mix and match really well. They’re of great quality and durable. We’ll be adding to our set with other pieces.

My favorites.

I love this pattern and have used them for many years as my daily dishes. They are great for daily use and don’t chip or crack. They do break on occasion when dropped to the floor by slippery hands!

Disappointment

I was very disappointed that someone made the decision to change the color of the plate. I have 6 plates and wanted to add 2 more. Someone decided that the plate color needed to be changed so now I have a set of dishes that DON’T match. The original 6 plates are one color and the 2 additional look like they don’t belong to the first 6. I will have to put these 2 on the bottom of the stack of plates and plan to only use them in an emergency. I have had Villeroy & Boch dishes for over 20 years and when this pattern came out I just loved it. I gave my other set to my sister and she loves it. Please let me know if you ever decide to return to the original color plates. Until then, I would be remiss in recommending this pattern to anyone. My husband and I entertain a great deal and we have gotten so many wonderful compliments on these dishes. So sad that someone made the decision to ruin it.

I love this pattern

I was looking to add to my current set of eight plates and ordered two additional ones curing the January sale. I believe what I received were seconds as the coloring is off and both have color striations on the yellow band. I still love this pattern, I was just not very satisfied with the particular plates I received.

Beautiful, versatile and quality Audun dinnerware

I love this dinnerware, I use it daily but the quality is such that it can be used in a formal setting. I purchased the dinner plates, salad plates, mugs and rice bowl, My purchase was a combination of all patterns, except the rice bowl, it came in only one pattern (Promenade). I wanted this dinnerware for so long, and I finally talked myself into making the purchase. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Terrific price, service, well packed, fast shipped

I recommend the company and service. This set is a bit deeper yellow than my original set. However, I anticipated that knowing that glaze batches can be different from one to the next and in this case, 10 years had passed between buying my full set and replacing a few missing pieces. Unless you are looking closely with an old and new plate side by side, you wouldn't notice the difference. Love love love this set. Thank you for carrying it and for the sale!

I love my new Villeroy & Boch Dinnerware!

Although I am a 'senior citizen' and thus late in purchasing china for myself and my husband, I am absolutely thrilled with this purchase and love this china. It is beautiful--can be used in a casual or elegant setting. In this modern age when we are less formal than in the past where everything had to match, Villeroy and Boch Audun is ideal. I use it everyday and it gives me such pleasure--the toile evokes a romantic era but is also modern as well. It's made to use everyday and to last forever. I don't know what else to say except I love it!!!

Not microwave safe!

I love these dishes. Absolutely love. The colors, the style, everything. They are amazing. HOWEVER, they claim to be microwave safe and they are NOT. If you forsee yourself warming up leftovers a lot like we do, these are not the dishes for you. This afternoon one of the plates cracked in half all the way down the middle heating up some refrigerated (not frozen) pasta after 45 SECONDS. It's the second plate we've broken in the microwave under completely normal circumstances.

Beautiful Dinnerware

I have been building my V&B Audun dinnerware set for a while now and recently received the remaining pices to complete my service for 8. This dinnerware is so beautiful and so versatile, with it's mix-and-match patterns. The diamond-patterned Promenade dinner plates can stand on their own for an elegant formal table setting but if you stack the bright yellow Fleur salad plate on top and the toile-patterned Ferme bread-and-butter plate on top of that, you have a much more casual, but still stunning, lunch or dinner table setting. I use these dishes every chance I get and they have held up extremely well, in and out of the dishwasher and my crowded hutch. No chips, no cracks, no crazing. Just beautiful. I can't help but smile whenever I set the table with them.
