Nice looking piece.
I needed a bookshelf for my daughtets room. This was big enough, yet small enough. It's a very classy looking shelf. Very sturdy and well built.

The ONLY good.thing about this piece is the design ... it us a piece of CRAP! The pieces are NOT properly marked, the instructions are inadequate, the board are hollow and easily break, the holes are not well aligned - creating gaps between the pieces! So incredibly disappointed ... will think again before EVER ordering a Porch and Den product, and will be more careful with Overstock items!

Pretty shelves
Interesting piece with lots of different areas to display a variety of objects. Lots of compliments on it. Pretty sturdy, might need to anchor it if it is going to sit on carpeted area.

Product was easy to assemble and is a good size for my small bedroom. Only deducted a star as I received a defective screw and there was no spare to replace it with.
A lot of work, but worth it
This took me hours to assemble on my own--and the number of pieces, boards, pegs, screws, locks, caps etc, was daunting--but it was a fairly simple assembly, requiring only a screwdriver and mallet (or rolling pin etc.). It required a lot of tight awkward work. It does look great. I gave it only four stars because some of the pieces did not fit together perfectly, leaving small gaps which I had to really work hard to close. This resulted in a small amount of damage to one shelf. Still, now that it is fully assembled and filled, it looks as it should and I'm sure I'll be happy with it for years.
Beautiful but requires patience to put together
First of all, these are beautiful and pretty sturdy. But, wow do they take forever to put together. I purchased two and one cabinet. It took me ALL day to put them together.
Classic Mid-Century Modern Design
This book/display shelf represents mid-century modern design perfectly. It was easy to assemble, looks great, and has plenty of room for accents and books too.
GREAT SHELVING UNIT
This was perfect to fit under the window in my office. It was a little small for books to stand upright, however I was able to fill it with knick knacks and what nots and make it the best addition to my office
