I expected better than this

The veneer on the bench is cheap. I thought I had a bench for 20 years but it will be marked up within a few years. Putting it together scraped the veneer off in a few places.

Low quality

Seat hinges are poorly installed, and one of the screws is already pulling out, so now the lid hardly works. The ledge between the slats on the back and sides has a very rough finish in places. Just pretty poor quality.

My Linon storage bench was everything I excepted. I love how it looks by my front door. It was easy to put together in no time. I definitely would recommend this to my friends and family.

defective product

this bench was defective and has a wood piece in the way of the bench seat closing and also in the way of assembling the bench, we were very disappointed with this product, also with home depot customer service who did nothing to help us except tell us to call the manufacturer who does not answer their 800 number!

I love it! It is well made with sturdy materials. Will last a long time. I would recommend this product. My only issue was the the instructions and tweaking angles to make it work.

Recieved bench, all pieces were intake. Nothing crack or broken. Up assembly one of the bracess started to crack. The hole was undersized. Glue the piece together and drill out the pilot hole. One of the connecter was missing. Got that taken care of. It looks good for the price.

Nice bench

Hard to put together, it took 2 of us working together for 3 hours. I think it was worth it but if there was one assembled, I'd do that if I ever got another one. Read the directions thoroughly before you begin. I love the finished product, it works very well.

Very honest

All the pieces put togeather at the shop were incorrectly put togeather . I had to hire someone to come over and reconstruct the whole thing. I will NEVER buy furniture from Walmart again.

Great quality

Heavy and sturdy. Need 2 people to assemble. The color is as shown and the size is exactly what I was looking for. I'm glad I bought it. Happy!!

Best bench bought online

This bench is superb. Was leery of the price of it but it turned out better than I anticipated. It is very sturdy solid wood very heavy in the box but besides that it is great.

Cute; but doesn't fit together well

The bench is adorable in our entryway but the back piece doesn't fit well with the sides...Also, the pegs that hide the screws do not fit into the holes. The lids aren't even when they close. Overall, the piece looks good; just not sure it will hold up when all the nieces and nephews come over! I will be calling overstock to talk about this; usually overstock is very helpful with these matters.

I am very happy with my purchase. This is a quality bench that seems very sturdy. Sitting on it with no reservations and the storage below will be great for scarfs and gloves as this is in the hall at the front door entrance. Fairly easy to assemble but have two people to attach the long bifold seat and follow the instructions and keep everything loose until it’s all fitted together. Would definitely recommend.

Good value for what it is. Easy to put together but be sure to follow the assembly sequence. Two people make the hinged seat step much easier. Not precision millwork but don't tighten screws before the final piece is in place and all the slack is minimized.

Nice for the price!

Love the look of this bench for the price- really good deal, but had a hard time getting the seat to align and fit correctly. Very frustrating, and ended up cracking a piece of the wood. The color is rich and I like the style of the bench, and it goes nicely in my sons bedroom.
