it was the wrong size and I had to pay the plumber to attend the site to install it and it didn't work so I had to pay the plumber anyway but wayfair refunded my money so that was great!

This worked well. We didn't end up using it (because we decided to switch out the entire tub). But it was great.

The west brass tub drain kit comes without cable. The three pieces product comes with polished chrome matching with my other tub fittings color. Materials looks durable and design with thread. But the installation instruction is not clear for DYI and also need to know about another parts requirement. So I need my plumber to help me out for setting up with my existing tub fittings.

This Westbrass Trim Kit for a Cable Driven Bath Overflow and Waste is quality made and definitely reveals fashion plumbing. Rotate the round overflow cover to close the drain, and turn it in the opposite direction to open the drain. The screw on the stopper base allows proper flow adjustment, for the tub drainage, but I do not understand how the waste strainer attaches to the drain, creating a watertight seal, no threads to seal only a rubber washer, maybe sweat on a male adapter. I would first order the Westbrass Cable drive waste and overflow assembly.

This is the tub trim kit only and does not come with the cable just a heads up as a lot of folks dont read complete item descriptions.....besides that this is a high end trim kit made of actual metal instead of cheap shiny plastic.....that's a plus in my book....the parts are heavy in the hand and appear to be very high quality.....I am not sure how to properly install this but my plumber checked them out and says they are nice so im going to go with his opinion

Poor finish

I do not recommend this product. The drain in the tub has damage to it just after 6 months of use. This tub does not get used every day either. It gets used about once a week. I do not use any harsh cleaners. I can’t even imagine what it would look like if I did. For what we paid for this product, we are highly disappointed.

I would buy again

The old whirlpool drain plug and trim ring plating was corroded and I did not want to replace the whole drain assembly, This trim kit was a perfect replacement and better quality than the original. I would recommend this to all, just make sure to measure the old trim to make sure it will fit.
