Better than the original, and saved a new door.

The design of my old patio door prevents access to renew the bogies without completely removing the double glazing glass units. After a fiddly bit of modification I was able to replace an individual wheel without removing the bogey. The remaining three wheels just needed cleaning and lubrication. Door now glides beautifully as new. Having had no maintenance for many years the gunge and dirt build up had caused the old bearing to seize. With more regular cleaning and attention I am hopeful the door will last many years.

Great steel patio door rollers!

These are great steel patio screen door rollers with ball bearings that will be replacing some nylon rollers that are 60+ years old. The old rollers have almost disintegrated. The patio screen door constantly comes off the track. Hope these replacement rollers will help fix the problem.

I did not buy....What is the diameter of the roller?

What is the diameter? How wide is the roller? What is the wide and deep is the grove?

Now door rolls like new!

I needed 4 complete roller assemblies, but I but only 3 were available . So I purchased 2 of these rollers. I am in the end well pleased with how smoothly the door operates now, but I did have to grind about half the thickness of the nut to get it into the bottom channel of the door. You door might not require that. I would buy again.

Excellent Fix

I have a 15-20 year old vinyl sliding door that all the rollers on the bottom were either broken or just wore out. Hard to move door. Replaced them by drilling out the rivets and replacing both the rollers (4) with the supplied rivets. WOW just like a new door.

Worked Well.

I have a 35 year old aluminium patio door manufactured by PH Tech (Quebec City). The rollers were worn out, and the housing is custom built for PH Tech. The rollers are riveted into the housing. Once the housing was removed, I drilled out the rivets and replaced the tandem rollers with these. They are the exact same size as the originals. Instead of riveting the new rollers in, I used a "sexed" fastener because the bolt & nut that comes with this roller was too big to fit into the housing. I did need to grind away a bit of the housing to ensure freedom of movement. Door works like new now !
