[Rewarded Review] Summer heat relief!

It was 90 degrees in my kitchen, 87 in the bedroom. We got this unit for the bedroom and it cools the whole floor, now it’s a comfortable 73 in the kitchen and 69 in the room! Thank you for saving us!!!

Works great

I put in a hallway window to help central air keep my second floor cool. It helps a lot. Only down side is it is a bit noisy. Salesman at PC Richards did warn me so it wasn’t a surprise.

It has been 110+ degrees here in Texas lately. Purchased this unit, and it has worked great, cooling the 200 sq ft area. It was not as loud as I thought it was going to be. The only issue I had was it was dented on the side from delivery. It did not affect the unit itself, just cosmetic. It has been installed for about 2 weeks, running almost non-stop. I have had no issues at this point, we shall see how long it lasts, but I am hopeful.

[Rewarded Review] Perfect Fit For Narrow Space

We have 2 other window mount Frigidaire air conditioners that we have been very happy with so this choice was made with confidence. Although this model is made to fit a slider window, we installed it in a large double hung window that is partially covered by a sectional sofa. This model fit the small exposed window space perfectly and is much more effective at cooling the living room than a portable 10,000 btu model it replaced. It is a little noisier than expected and the remote does not have the remote temperature sensor that our other Frigidaire models have. Due to its narrow shape, it extends out the back side more than we would like. I would like Frigidaire to provide a window kit that makes this model a sturdier fit for a double hung window and a higher quality support bracket. Overall, we are happy with this model and expect it to be as trouble free as our other Frigidaire AC's. We also purchased a larger insulated plastic insert from our local craft store to accomodate the larger open window section of the double hung window.

I put this air conditioner in my wood shop, so far it works fantastic, before it was 90 degrees outside it was 98 in wood shop. Now it is 75 degrees in wood shop makes it much nicer to get things done. Love it!

Poor quality…

We had one of these for several years, it worked fairly well. When it stopped working last year, we purchased the identical for replacement. The new one worked last year, this year it does not cool nearly at all. After spending over $600 for this unit and it now one month out of warranty, it will now be replaced with a “whole house” mini split. The Frigidaire unit will now be recycled.

Be careful of what Lowes recommends as addon's

Air conditioner works great. However Lowes recommended I also buy support bracket and a filter and listed them alongside AC unit. So I did BUT filter was incorrect size and AC unit came with a support bracket of it's own. So the addons were a waste of my time and yours as I returned them. Love the AC though. Thanks.

This is the second Frigidaire air conditioner that I’ve purchased. The first one that I purchased, which was just like this one but an older model, lasted me over 20 years so when when it came time to replace it, there was no question as to which brand I would get. By the way, my old conditioner still worked. It was just getting too loud next to the tv. This one is a bit pricey because it’s for a casement window but I don’t have any other choice. It is money well spent.

Easy to install, works great. I bought for my wood shop it gets over 100 degrees and know it keeps it around 75 with no problem. Great AC unit.

Very Good AC and an excellent response

We have had several of this model AC and they each have worked well in our slider windows. When we opened the box, this one was damaged. Because of the way it was packaged, we could not sent the unit back, so we were asked to submit pictures, which we did. The process took a while, but Walmart and MaxIT-USA were very helpful, polite and responsive throughout the whole process and a refund was issued. Annoying as the original situation was, I could not ask for a better response.

I chose this unit because i have a window of a very specific size that i needed it to fit in. And that part was great, it meets my sizecrequirements precicely. The install process is a little involved, and the parts included were not directly compatible with my vinyl window frame, but i was able to work around that easily enough (i had to cut a block of wood to fit in the vinyl track for reinforcement, the provided metal adapter was the wrong size). ... and the cooling is great.

I ordered an open boxed item that was 460.00 and this is what I got. A used broken not working air conditioner. I need this replaced or my card credit right away please
