I bought this about a week ago for a company gift. Thinking I got a good deal. Well I could have gotten the same thing on amazon for $30 bucks less.

These pans are horrible. They easily stick and hard to clean and surface scratches easily. I know it is past the 30 days since ordering BUT i really wish I could return them. I recently starting to use them and discovered how much I hate them. Very disappointed with this product.

It has a very strange and uncommon looking lid

The kids on the pots are 1-inch thick very unusual to manage and easily can get immersed in your food and make a lot of mess when you set it aside.

Fantastic set

High quality set. I love the draining lids and can easily skip getting out a strainer. They heat fast and are beautiful. Need to use barkeepers friend for stains but the set is worth this step that will be the case for all stainless steel pots and pans. The handles tend to stay cool even when booking at higher temps on the stove top, not like other sets I have had where you can burn yourself on the handle. Well worth the price, feel like I got a bargain

Not All-Clad, but it works well enough

I really wanted to get my forever All-Clad pan set, but I was put in a situation where I needed new pans and had to get something that is quality. These pans work extremely well and I'm happy with the set. I bought a Calphalon non-stick frying pan set to go along with this ( you can't cook eggs or anything for that matter in stainless without A LOT of fat).

I hate this cookware set. Wish I could send it back, but waited too long. Feels cheap and not anywhere near the same quality as the other Calphalon products that we have used for 15 years. Polar opposite of non-stick. Don’t waste your money or your elbow grease.

Horrible, stained after 1st use

I should’ve listened to the reviews, but I took a chance. After only one use, the pans stained terribly. No matter if I hand washed or put them in the dishwasher, it was impossible to get the stains out. I’m so disappointed as this was not a cheap set.

Do Not Buy These Pans

Do not buy this set. We ordered it a month ago and are unhappy. The pans are easily burnt and scratched after a single use. We use olive oil or cooking spray, but food sticks quite badly to the bottom regardless of amount. The small pan burnt on the first use, making a run-of-the-mill omelette (see photo). Water marks set in one of the pans after a single time making pasta (see photo). The pans scratch very easily even though we sponge wash them (soft side of the sponge), after letting them soak for over an hour. Ridiculously labor intensive and disappointing. Calphalon customer service is nonexistent. I emailed them a week ago and there has been no response. Do not buy.

Not a good experience

1 out of 5 stars You need to be a pro chef to be able to use this "Stainless steel is probably one of the safest methods to cook and might have great heat distribution. But it comes with a huge drawback - that of food getting burnt and stuck to the surface EXTREMELY easily. My wife and I purchased a 10-piece set at a store a few months ago and cleaning and maintaining it has been a bit of a nightmare. Stuff gets burnt very easily, and once it does it is super-difficult to scrape it out

Beautiful, but not functionable

Calphalon is a great cookware brand that makes quality products, but this cookware set is not worth buying for full-price unless it is on sale. First off, it comes in 10 different pieces and is perfect for someone whose buying it for their first home or as a bridal gift. However, although the quality and design of the cookware are great, the longevity of the pans and pots is less to be desired.

I really like this cookware

I got this cookware for Christmas 2015 so I've used it a lot. I wanted to make sure I had enough time to write a proper review, using all the pieces. The only derogatory thing I can say at all is that the side handles get hot on the big pot. Other than that, I really like everything about this set. These are all the pieces I need, they clean well, they shine like the sun, they're great. I've burned things too, so even if I see some discoloration from these times, they end up coming out after a few more usages and washes. If you want good cookware without having to take out a mortgage, try these.

Great but tarnishes

We received this set as a wedding gift and overall we are very happy with it. The pans cook foods evenly. There are measurements inside the pots and pans so you can keep track of how much liquid you've put in, and there are convenient pour spouts as well. The set is attractive and looks great hanging on our hooks in the kitchen. My one complaint is that even after the first use, I've noticed a little bit of tarnishing. I can see that even with great care, these pans will start to get discolored over time. However, their functionality is great.

great cooking set

I got tired of dealing with nonstick surfaces and had one stainless steel calphalon pot that was at least 10 years old and had become my favorite. So I decided to buy this set and go totally stainless steel. This stuff is great, and when I manage to stain the bottom a little, I use a little polish and the pots and pans look brand new. I cook every day and expect these things to last a long, long time. They're heavy enough to be substantial and stand up to daily use/abuse, but light enough for me to handle with my carpal tunnel issues. I absolutely love them.

Perfect

I'm loving these pots and pans! The measurement on the inside is mega helpful, the lids that I can strain water out of is something I never want to live with out again! They're easy to clean as long as you don't abuse them, and while I don't expect them to stay perfectly shiny and new looking, so far after about a month if home cooking, they still look great! The metal handles on the lids get pretty hot, but I've only had to use a pot holder once or twice to lift them. I love these and hope they last a very long time. I'm so much happier with these than nonstick pans I've had in the past!
