This is a very easy to install replacement or initial light. The light is very well made and very durable. The pull chain is easy to pull with out the sticky jam-up feeling of older lights. The light bulb a replaceable LED bi-pin style light. The protective guard is nice and clear and easy to install and remove. Light output is nice and appealing to the eyes, as such it doesn't have the glare of incandescent bulbs.

The Leviton Pullchain Lampholder is just the right size for my small utility room. I wasn't sure it would be useful but after I installed it, the amount of light it puts out is quite impressive. I had no problem installing it as if easily fits a standard electrical box. The LED bulb fit nicely into it's socket and the plastic shroud snapped into place smoothly. I would recommend this light to any homeowner who needs a simple light for a closet or utility room.

This is a simple pull-chain light for storage rooms or small closets that really puts out a good light. I replaced an old ceramic pull-chain, single bulb incandescent light fixture in my work room and this one puts out much more light and more evenly. Installation was easy; black to black and white to white wires. The LED bulb that comes with it has a bayonet base that twists in to install and the globe does the same. Both are very simple to install. The pull-chain switch is easy to operate and I even rigged a string through an eye-bolt so I could turn the light on from the doorway. This is a very good modernized but simple pull-chain light.

What a great upgrade. When you are looking at this item please note there are two versions of this. One version is designed to work with a switched circuit and another model that is meant to have constant power and has a built in pull chain. I recently acquired one each of both models. I was using them to replace 60 year old ceiling fixtures in a semi-finished basement. These fixtures installed in minutes and line up well to 4" and 3" boxes. The light output is fantastic in brightness and color. The bulbs are the Bi-Pin each to install bulbs.

This white LED ceiling lamp holder with pull chain and 10-watt bulb and bulb guard is just the perfect size to go over my deep sink and it is much brighter than the old pull chain fixture with a incandescent bulb that is up there now. I started a few years ago replacing any light bulb that goes bad, with LED bulbs that will last "forever" ( this one is rated for 20,000 hours) so if my old math is correct, I can leave it on for 100 hours for 12 cents.

Just received this little light and I am impressed. It looks much better in person than in the online pictures. Most lights of this type are one piece and glued together. This one is a base, a bulb and a shade or globe. It is designed to replace a keyless porcelain or plastic lamp holder in a closet or utility room. It will be a simple matter of loosening the screws in the old lamp holder, disconnect wires, connect wires to new socket, twist on and tighten the screws. Mine is going to be placed above my HVAC unit in my attic to light the area for servicing. Light output is 900 lumens which will be adequate for this application.

Cool, efficient closet light. Needed to replace an old pull chain light in my laundry closet. This one is a bit smaller than my older unit but still works great. The base is a bit wider than my previous unit so I was a little concerned there would be a gap between the base and the pre-existing hole cut out. No issue there so on worries. Installation is pretty simple thanks to the pigtail wires. Total time was about 5 minutes so definitely something you can knock out real quick if needed.

Simple to install in a round box on the ceiling or wall. Perfect for closets or crawl spaces where you need a good light that is safe to leave on even if accidentally. The bulb is the equivalent to a 10 watt bulb but the life of an LED and low cost of operation. This model has a pull chain for on or off positions. Probably good for a small shed or even the garage workbench.
