Great Product

I love this product. I had my handyman install it for me. He brought his assistant. It took them about an hour. It has been great so far. Kept the car shaded and protected from rain. It looks great, blends well in nature. I will see how it makes it thru the winter, but it did real well all summer!

Wow, this is fantastic! I didn’t have high expectations… I’ve only ever bought clothes on TEMU. I plan on buying several more!! Easy to put together and very sturdy!

Very happy with it.

Needed something to put up over cords of wood for winter, then take down in spring. Thicker legs than other brands. Am topping ours with additional heavy duty tarp, from the feel of it i do not expect to have a problem with it.

it's better than I thought. Let's see how well it holds up. I owe some older ones I got , and the old ones are way more sturdy and strong. this new canopy has a few dents and it arrive like that.

I agree it is practical. I like that the pipes snap together. the pipes are not quite as strong as I would like but are adequate for lighter duty use. I didn't look close enough to see that there are only 3 upright posts down each side instead of 4 like the standard 10x20 carports.

Had one little strong wind and it absolutely destroyed this carport. Use it as a shelter for my animals and had it tied down and it was completely destroyed. Don’t buy.

Great canopy

I didn't purchase this for a carport. It's going to keep my dogs out of the rain and hot sun. I put their 8x8 pen under the canopy and have room for my lawn as well. Love it

This carport met my expectations. The material is pretty lightweight but fits together well. Some pieces may break prematurely, but with extra tethering, it should weather the average storm ok. Overall, it was about what I expected to get for the price.

The canvas awning lasted one year before splitting

For only $300, it’s pretty great. I have had mine for one year and it survived the winter of record snowfall. I frequently pushed the snow off of it, but it was pretty sturdy. You absolutely must anchor these carports to the ground or a heavy windstorm will flip them. I bought a concrete hammer drill and used concrete anchors for mine. After one year though, the canvas awning has worn and completely ripped down the ridge, so it will need to be replaced. The frame is in perfect shape though.

I liked the welds and the weight of the poles. Some poles did come bent and packaging was rough! I hope that is not an issue come hard rain or wind and damage the vehicle. The Canvas seems heavy duty but have had no rain since putting it together. Took me one hour to do alone.

Very solid canopy

The robustness of this canopy truly astonishes me. The poles possess significantly more weight compared to my previous outdoor canopy. Setting it up was a breeze; the installation process was effortless. Instead of the strings provided, I opted to use a cable line, considering the occasional presence of strong winds in our area. I wanted to ensure its secure anchoring.

Excellent product and customer support.

This purchase has been the ultimate best! Our patio was lacking shade after we removed a large tree, so we searched on Amazon for viable shade options and were impressed by the reviews of this particular one. As we aren't particularly handy individuals, we were worried about the difficulty of assembling it. To have an idea of what to expect, we watched a couple of You Tube videos. However, it turned out to be an easy task that didn't require any special tools. It took us only about an hour and a half to unpack, sort out parts, and complete the assembly. All parts were clearly marked and fitted together as designed. We opted to use some concrete deck piers from Home Depot to attach legs to instead of our patio concrete, which raised the height by about 9" and gave us additional clearance. The item was able to withstand a 40 mph wind without any damage, and we are completely satisfied with it. I would recommend watching assembly videos as the instruction sheet is basic and only contains diagrams. We would definitely buy this item again! **Update: After six months, we discovered a small tear in the cover. We got in touch with Quictent's customer service and were assisted by Vincy, who was very thorough in addressing our concerns. He informed us that they would send out a replacement cover to us at no charge, and we received it in about a week. Vincy kept us informed about the progress of the replacement cover, and we had no issues or questions about getting a replacement during the one year warranty. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another one of these items!

Better than expected in the wind but for assembly important to know...

Our mother's residence is of an older vintage and was never equipped with a garage in its earlier days. This wasn't much of an issue until recent years, when the weather became less predictable. The carport I intended to procure for her faced substantial shipping complications, with an estimated delivery time of over a year, and even then, no guarantees. Consequently, to promptly address the situation, I settled for this option since it was readily available. The delivery personnel left the package, but luckily, I keep a small dolly in my truck, which proved invaluable for transferring it to the backyard area. Given its dimensions and weight, one requires either a dolly or assistance from two individuals to move it. It's not excessively heavy per se, but it's simply impractical for a single person to grasp and move it alone. Upon unboxing, I found all the components intact, with no missing or damaged parts. As for the assembly instructions, if I were to assign a grade, it would be a 'C'. Some of the parts lacked clear labeling, to say the least. However, with some trial and error, you eventually figure out the correct sequence for fitting the angle pieces. The bars and joints effortlessly snap together using spring-loaded tabs, eliminating the need for screws or bolts. Rest assured, they provide sturdy support. The only downsides? A lone individual would struggle to set this up unless they possess the dexterity of an octopus. Additionally, while the bungees currently serve their purpose in securing the tarp, prolonged exposure to the elements causes bungees to deteriorate, disintegrate, and eventually snap. It's worth considering this aspect for future reference. Nevertheless, I wholeheartedly recommend this product to anyone seeking a quick and affordable solution for vehicle protection.

Part good and part bad.

The canopy seems to be well made. The cordage that is supplied to tie the cover down is poor quality and after only 6 months is rotten and brittle. Also the canopy itself has a split in the top where a seam is coming apart. Working to get this warranted now. It has a one year warranty.

Overall pleased, minor complaints and suggestions

If I could, I would rate it 4.5 stars out of 5 overall. It deserves more than a 4 in each category, so I rounded up to 5. I am genuinely pleased with it thus far. We are using it as a temporary shed to protect various items such as bikes, snowblower, and tractor from rain and moisture. Everything underneath is additionally covered with weighted tarps. During a severe wind storm, it withstood the elements, but I secured one leg with a heavy sandbag as I don't trust the small stakes provided with the carport. Here are my only complaints: 1. The lack of detailed instructions, relying solely on diagrams, which could confuse some people when differentiating similar parts. 2. I was not fond of the push-button latch system used, as it did not provide secure locking. Fortunately, the top frame is tightly secured with a steel rope system with adjustable tension, and the legs are in compression due to the weight of the top frame, reducing the chances of separation. If the carport is not secured and a strong wind blows, it may come off the ground. 3. The tarp is slightly lightweight, but it may be sufficient. We will see how it performs in heavy snow next winter, considering the slope designed to facilitate snow sliding off the top. 4. Not a complaint, but it would be great if the leg height were adjustable, allowing it to be lowered by a couple of feet for non-vehicle use like ours. Things I liked: 1. The price. 2. The overall build quality. 3. The ease of assembly. 4. The design. 5. The appearance and aesthetics, considering the product type.

Best carport canopy I've ever owned.

The setup process was incredibly straightforward. The inclusion of tension wires greatly enhances the carport's stability. The cover effectively prevents water from accumulating. It withstands strong winds admirably when the feet are secured to the blacktop and the tie ropes are properly in place. The poles boast impressive thickness, and the overall frame is as robust as any I have ever witnessed. Undoubtedly, this product is of exceptional quality.
