Pros: Well constructed. Easy to install, though as it was slightly smaller than the original grille, some tweaking was necessary. Cons: overpriced. Replaced existing return air grille when replaced HVAC system. The old grill was making loud noises when the new HVAC was running. As we were no longer using a filter at the return grille, we didn’t need one that opens. Noise was completely eliminated with new grille.

Best money spent on a Return Air Grille! I went to HD to replace my standard Return Air Grille, the ones with more and smaller slats. It was vibrating and noisy. Lo and behold, a few shelf spaces over I happened to see this grille, same size at three times the price of the standard one. The slats were larger and fewer, to allow more air to pass through with less friction. The construction is of a heavier metal and quite substantial, like a commercial product. After installation, the difference is amazing! I will probably replace another same size return in our bedroom to achieve less noise and more air flow. I highly recommend this product, yes, at three times the price of the standard grille!

Furnace Air Flow Noise Cured!

A new furnace and filter box left us with more noise than the 22 year old outgoing components. Inspecting and feeling the increased airflow by the new system I could deduce that air restriction was the suspect of the newly created whirring noise. Removing the air filter box front panel eliminated the whirring noise but we were left with a need for a permanent solution, so I researched high flow return air grilles and these Everbilt models worked out perfectly - no more whirring air noise.

it costs $33 as of today. is it made of gold?I grabbed it and went to the register thinking that it cost $10. when I saw $33 I thought it was an error. I could not believe my eyes.
