Keep browsing.If, like me, you have a 1950s house with weird vent dimensions and you don't want to cut holes in your wall or baseboards for this very simple upgrade, this is the vent cover for you. If you understand how dampers work and like wasting money, that's how you control the airflow. You probably also know how to turn the furnace down if it's really too hot, Goldilocks.Installs great. I was happy to discover that the screws are the same space apart as the original hardware. No wood filling or patching for this girl. Install took 5-10 minutes, tops.Looks great, a final touch to my recently renovated spare room. I'll probably buy again to avoid the same aforementioned unnecessary cutting and drilling. It's metal, so a great price as well.Before and after install pics attached to really drive home the point.

Nice, sturdy, and well-made.

Overall good

Wanted to replace our old one that had been painted and paint chipped with something new. It came quickly. Though we haven't replaced the old one with this one yet, overall looks good.

Fragile

This worked good when I plugged it in, but when I gave it to my son to put in his room he dropped it on the floor and although the fan still runs it is moving hardly no air at all. Nothing internal looks out of place nor is the fan dislodged, just not blowing any air
