Wonderful mirror.

I had one of these mirrors at our former residence and loved it. When I moved, I missed it and was finally able to find the correct location for a new one here and had it installed. It is the best - so much better than any counter top I have tried to use. It can be installed at the correct height so one does not have to lean over. I do not have to worry about batteries as I can have it plugged in all the time. And the 10X magnification is superb!

Perfect Wall-Mounted Makeup Mirror!

This mirror was exactly what I was looking for! It's larger than I expected, which I actually love it gives plenty of viewing space. Installation was super easy, and the magnification feature works perfectly for close-up details. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a functional and stylish addition to their space!

Couldn't Do Without This

I ordered my mirror several years ago. I use it every day and I love it! I needed something that didn't require wiring or have to be plugged in as I only have one outlet in my bathroom. The batteries last a long time, and it has an auto-off feature after 5 minutes. This mirror is great!!

Nearly perfect

I ordered this to replace a similar freestanding mirror that sat on my vanity and made it too cluttered. This mirror can be mounted anywhere since it is not hardwired, so you don't need an electrician. That's a huge benefit! The mirror is attractive, nicely finished, the light is bright and the magnification is awesome. Both the regular and magnifying mirrors seem to be distortion free. The only negatives are that the holes that secure the mirror to the mounting plate are a little off center, so we had to take that into consideration to mount this level. (The etched logo ended up being slightly off-kilter but it's not too noticeable.) The batteries seem to be good for now, but it's too soon to know how long they'll last. It will be a pain if I have to change them more than a couple of times a year. The included power cord is good, but what would make this perfect is if it had rechargeable batteries and a USB charging cable. Most areas where you'd hang this are near an outlet and you could charge periodically like an electric toothbrush. Overall, I would recommend.

three stars for inconveniences, Works very well once installed, the lighting is great as are the mirrors, the unit is however, heavy, batteries are located in the base requiring three tiny screws to be removed and not lost and need to be carefully re-screwed in to avoid cross threading. the weight of the unit makes it bulky to install those screws and one must be sure to install the mounting plate VERY securely to the wall. The folding arms will put the mirror flush against the wall, but, when turned the opposite way the arms lock up and causes the mirror to stop almost 3 inches from the wall, it's also rather expensive. had to install the unit upside down to accommodate my short wife. I will admit however, that The saying, "happy wife, happy life" is true.

We are into this purchase 110 days and the LEDs are out. Attempting to contact the manufacturer (Zadro) for warranty service but into the Holidays, so we'll see how this works out. What I can tell everyone is the battery feature is what sold us but the batteries don't last long and it is very inconvenient to change them out on a regular basis. It does have an adapter option you can buy from Zadro but then you're back to needing an outlet near the mirror. If we had that I would have purchase a corded model. Not really worth the purchase, unfortunately.

I absolutely love this mirror but I had problem with the first one received. Returning it was no problem. Received a replacement but it didn't work after about two months. Returned with no problems, no hassle. The third one has been great for the three years I've had it now. The light is not as bright when operated on batteries only. Works great on AC adapter. If I ever get another I will get a hard wired one to make away with adapter. Still LOVE it.

I loved this product when I first used it. Lighting was great and magnification was perfect. However, after a couple of months of use, the light went out. It seemed like it got a short in it because it would work if you had the mirror at this one certain angle but then it stopped altogether. Home Depot let me return the item in store even though it was passed the return date which was nice but I had to get in store credit. They do not carry these type of mirrors in store and the credit cannot be used online, which is upsetting.

Magnifying wall mounted mirror

Well lit and easy to use. Switches quickly to opposite sides. I have it plugged into the wall. Looks great and lies fairly flat to wall. My only thought is that the magnified part is VERY magnified and I have to be right up close to figure out what I am looking at. It is 10X magnification and a bit scary to look at yourself with that strong a magnification. I think maybe 5-8X would have been just as good. The regular magnification actually looks a bit small, so each side of the mirror is on opposite ends of the magnification. I needed the rubbed bronze finish and could only order this online. I am Canadian and had to also order it to my sister's in Michigan off the US site, as it was not offered on the Home Depot Canadian site.
