Induction compatible and very big

Jumbo size and induction compatible. I have a wolf 30 inch induction range and this works great correct it does not have the metal strainer for the noodles all the way to the bottom. There’s a 3 inch gap. However, knowing this would be the case we bought a larger size. This can easily make pasta for a large group of people.

Crate and Barrel is incompetent

Crate and Barrel sent the wrong version of this (no steamer basket) and when I asked for a replacement, they sent the same incorrect version again. Total incompetence. Can’t believe I’m saying this but take your business to Amazon instead if you need this.

The quality of the product is top notch, the only thing is that it rather large. Great for soups and pastas, but if cooking for two..a little big.

Regrets

I wanted this pot for making bone broth and regret making this purchase. For starters, with the strainer insert it is so heavy that by the time you add ingredients and water you can barely lift it. As the water gets close to boiling it starts to seep out between the pot and strainer hitting the stovetop and creating a burnt on mess. The holes in the strainer are large enough that you still need a strainer for removing the smallest particles which defeat the whole purpose. Also, because if the thickness of these two stainless layers, it takes over an hour to get liquid to boil.

I've been wanting one of these for years. Finally I broke down and got it. I love it.

So happy to have finally found THE pot.

This pot is excellent for cooking pasta, soup and steaming food when we have guests over for dinner.

more than I imagined

This is VERY large. I had a smaller version, but had to get an inverter stove version when I upgraded my appliance. This one works with inverters, but must be carefully fitted into the dishwasher and cabinets.

Everything…and All Clad

So pleased with this gorgeous and versatile everything pot. No more risky treks across the kitchen to the colander in the sink with a huge pot of hot stuff to drain. plus beautiful even heat for stocks and stews. Increduble All Clas quality.

Underwhelmed

I have been using this for a three months and I’m underwhelmed. I do not like that there is approximately a 3” gap in between the bottom of the strainer insert and the bottom of the pot. This means that the strainer only has a slightly larger capacity, and takes longer to bring to a boil, than my 8qt pasta pot. I also contacted All-Clad about some discolouration that has occurred; I was informed that it doesn’t inhibit the pots cooking function so there wasn’t anything they could do about it. I do not feel that this pot lives up to the hype All-Clad receives or the price tag.

Stock Pot

I've been using this pot since i bought it and has yet to let me down in any way. The strainers it comes with make coolijg and draining easy.

Made in China.

Bought this under the impression that All Clad makes their stainless products in the USA. On the site, there's no mention that this one is an exception. Well, it is... and I'm full of regret as a result.

Not induction friendly

Loved this pot for our gas stove. But does not work on induction range like they claim on the product description.

Withstands the test of time

My mother had a pretty extensive All-Clad set & this pot is among the set I got after she passed. Whether it's making soups or chili or huge batches of Mac & cheese for holiday meals, I use this pot & I love it. It distributes heat well & there is no burning or sticking. This pot has to be 20 years old & still looks brand new.

This pot combo is extremely useful

Very useful for everything from soups to lobsters to steaming pudding.
