Great Stock Pot
I bought this to use on my new ceramic top stove. We used it for the first time today to make a huge pot of chili. The pot is perfect. Cooked great - cleaned up great - is a good replacement for our 30 year old stainless pot.
GREAT PRODUCTS
I have two 12 quart stock pots, plus other FARBERWARE cookware. I purchased the 16 quart for additional capacity. I have always been very satisfied with the products and would highly recommend them.
Essential Stockpot for Family Cooking
I have had a Farberware 16-qt stockpot for years. This year I bought one for my daughter for Christmas. She loves it as much as I love mine. Best chili pot ever!
Farberware........Still An Awesome Product!!
This stock pot is perfect. I actually bought this for my sister. I have one that's almost identical, but quite a few years older. My sister was always borrowing my pot to make large batches of soup. So when I found this one online at Walmart......I had to buy her one!! I was amazed at how nice the quality is, even after all these years. I put the two pots (hers and mine) side by side and the weight and quality is still there!! I also like the fact that the handle on the top lid was metal. This is an improvement from my pot......especially if you ever want to put it in the oven. The price was really great too....for a pot this large and of such great quality!!
Not made the way it used to be!
I've been using Farberware for many years. In fact, I received my first 4 quart covered pan approximately 47 years ago. That pot is still going strong with almost daily use. However, before moving to Israel 7 years ago my husband and I decided to treat ourselves to new Farberware because we thought the quality was still excellent. What a mistake! My 12 quart covered stockpot now has a couple of small places where the stainless steel has worn through, revealing the dark inner layer. This is the pot I use least often - no more than 5 or 6 times a year. I never mistreat my cookware and keep it very clean. My old pot was (and still is) true quality. No more! How sad!
