Unsafe cookware!

In order to leave a review, i had to give this at least 1 star, but don't buy this,. It isn't safe! The handles are just tacked on, and are not securely attached. One came off during shipping. Imagine you're lifting a pot full of hot soup off the stove, and one of the handles comes off in your hand....

Good, but not up to Faberware's old standards

First of all, the exterior fit and finish is great! Looks all shiney and new coming out of the box. The machining on inside however is very coarse. And already after 5 or 6 uses to boil pasta there is a little bit of random discoloration--should I say minor staining?-- on the purportedly *stainless* steel. I probably should not expect more for the decent price. The inside of my 40 year old Faberware pasta pot is unblemished, just by point of comparison. I guess moving production off shore has its costs to consumers as well as benefits to the company.

great stock pot

I really liked this pot, it was durable and a great size, however it was shipped in a box with no packing protection and therefore had all dents in it when I received it. I had to return it and the only option I was given was to order a new one on line, however I had 40% off when I purchased it and the woman at my local kohls said there was nothing she could do about it. Very disappointed.

Great stock pot.

Ordered this 16qt Faberware stick pot with hopes it was the same great quality as my 30 year old set. It’s perfect! We have made spaghetti sauce 3x now. Pot is wonderfully weighted and sturdy. The handles and the lid do not get too hot- surprisingly. Great quality.

Inside bottom of pot damaged after first use.

After cooking stuffed cabbage in this stockpot the bottom inside of the pot is etched. The finish is no longer smooth. Not something that can be scrubbed off. Unable to find any information about this issue. Attempting to fill out a warranty claim. The Farberware website to file for warranty is extremely user unfriendly. Not happy with this pot.

Expensive…not worth it.

A lot of money for a pan that gets stained up first time you use it. I’ve had other stainless steel pans that I’ve made so in that haven’t stained. This one has white stains all over the bottom after just my first use. It arrived dented as well. Will say though, it is a nice size at 16 quarts.

Pot Luck!

I never thought I would be writing a review about a pot, but here we are. My Farberware pot that I received as a wedding gift 39 years ago bit the dust, (the handles came off). I purchased this pot after coming to terms with the demise of my old pot. This pot is awesome! The heat is distributed evenly, everything cooks beautifully. I am very happy with this purchase.

Best Stainless steel pot

The 4 Qt Saucepot is really sturdy and brings about uniform heat when placed on a stove. Just love the pot as its stainless steel. Bottom, (Aluminum) is thick and helps to distribute heat evenly. Farberware is at its class. Only con was that the bakelite handle becomes very hot and I have to use a kitchen glove to move it off the stove. Easy to wash. I would definitely recommend it.
