Reviews
Bought this to replace a nearly identical wok that Id had for years. Its alright, does the job of allowing me to cook stir-fry and larger dishes just fine. It was incredibly difficult to season, however. I meticulously followed the seasoning instructions, but the wok didnt season evenly. A couple of times since, I have noticed what appeared to be flakes of the woks coating coming off in the food I was cooking. Probably would not buy again. I feel like a good wok is hard to find, but if youre somebody whos going to be using this more than occasionally - like, several times a week - Id keep looking. Also really wish it came with a cover. I kept the cover from my old wok, which thankfully was the same size, so I was able to use it with this one.
broken plastic handle. extremely dangerous.
wok 14" great size. 2 handles BUT
Excellent wok, just needs a lid
Excellent wok, good handles, good weight, sits well on stove. Only thing missing was a lid
Awesome Wok , very well made. Delivered earlier than estimared
Very happy with this product.
So far so good. Seasoned it well and works wonderfully. I suspect some the negative reviews are due to not following the instructions on seasoning and cleaning/drying. Very happy with this product.
Rusty wok
The product looks great. We followed the instructions to clean and season Wok, but the Wok continues to show signs of rust. Not sure what is the cause but is very disappointing.
Wok reviewed by an American-Asian
This wok comes w a factory coating that should be scrubbed off before initially seasoning it. After each use, I do not use soap, but wash, dry and then very lightly coat it w oil. Otherwise, it will rust in which case, I wash, dry and coat w oil again. The seasoning process takes time and use. With each use, a patina develops. Wish it had a lift handle, though, because it's hard to lift when filled w food. The bottom diameter is larger than most woks which makes it nice for induction stovetops. Gauge of wok is thicker than cheapie woks so it warps slower as heat gets hotter. Need to heat it up slowly. This 12" is good for 4-5 servings but not large enough for more. Wished they made a 14" with the same or bigger flat bottom diameter.
poor quality
Poor quality pan, I followed the instruction to clean and seasoning the pan before first use, but still had a terrible result. Don't buy it.
Coated wok
I have to write this review right after I opened the package, the wok is coated. I don’t want any wok with coating.
Just as advertised!
