Hard to get it ready to sue

I don't understand it will need to pre-use process, to burn the pan to dark. It is not easy to do it at home. I don't understanad why the manufacturer couldn't do that before ship it out.

rust all over

I would not recommend this wok! It should be taken off the market! After several uses the product rusty so badly that I was never able to use it! I scour and scrubbed so hard, evenly I threw it away! Very disappointed

rusted 1st use

I used one washed and dries immediately when I came back to the kitchen 10 mins later papan was rusting.

Not Your Ordinary Wok

Well designed and the perfect size whether you're cooking for many or just one.

Its junk it turns black and rusty even after its seasoned...do not recommend.

The handle is easy to hold.

Endless rust

It’s cute. It’s small but it keeps rusting… I cook. I clean. RUST and then Brillo pad to the rescue because I’m not going to season it while there’s rust on it. I season and repeat. Very disappointed because it’s just the most high maintenance wok I have. Its discoloration pattern is ugly and uneven. Do yourself a favor and don’t buy one.

New Wok

Beautiful design and perfect cooking surface. I love it.

Used it the first time and when I wash it and let it air dry. It rusted the whole pan.

Good wok

This is my 1st wok. I followed a YouTube video to season the wok, and I think it turned out well. I love the wok. Nothing sticks to it, so it's easy to clean. It works really well. I'm happy with my purchase.

I sent this as a gift. The recipient loves to cook/ loves this Wok. The design/ ease / size. She is so happy!

Upon first use a lot of the coating came off. Not my first wok and I was careful, so not sure why it happened. But it’s a nice size and has beautiful sturdy wood handles on either sides.

This is the Wok to buy. Look for a sale.

Macy's sells a lot of woks that are either gimmicks posing as woks, or too small for effective stir frying, or packages with a lot of accessories that jack up the price. But if you want a serious wok that cooks the way a real wok should, then this Joyce Chen 14" carbon steel is what you want.
