It worked great for 6 months, then started leaking at the jooints we were unable to fix and it ended up in the trash.

Works like a charm. The one I purchase at a local hardware store leaked at every joint. This item doesn't leak at all and works exactly as it should.

Adjustable shower arm

This worked very well for what I needed. The only thing I found fault with is that the tightening screws kept getting loose when I moved the arm.

Does not keep shower head in place. Too heavy for the arm even after tightening. Very disappointed. At least it adds length so my mom can reach it.

I shouldn't be rating a product I just installed a week or two ago. But since you asked for one, here it is. This is my third "adjustable shower arm" for my shower stall. The first one that I bought for it was very much like this one. It didn't last 6 months. The second one, though it looked almost exactly the same, was made by a different manufacturer and lasted two or three years. I adjust between showers, depending on whether it is my wife showering or me. So we use the adjustment feature a lot. With this latest purchase, as I said, I can tell it is a lot like my first adjustable shower arm. I expect this one to break within 6 months. I bought this online but even in person it's hard to tell in the package the difference in manufacturing quality. Once out of the store and out of the package, I was "oh no, this is like my first adjustable shower arm"!

The shower head in our guest bath was too high for our grandkids and this little device brought it down to just where it needs to be. And it is easily adjustable for taller folks. The only thing negative is that the washer that came with it wasn’t right and it leaked so I replaced it.
