It's just a handy thing to grab onto to get in and out of the tub. I have to grab onto something to keep me balanced stepping over the tub wall onto my bath chair.

These grab bars are very easy to install. The diameter of the grip was a little smaller than I expected, but they fit the shower stall perfectly.

These were recommended in a product review site for budget choice. Highlights were textured surface and slimmer profile for smaller hands to get a good grip. Installer had no issues with the product.

Don't buy this item.

Rock-bottom quality. Very poor design. Don't waste your money on this item. The only way to get the white cover piece in place is to scrape off the paint from then bar. Also, this will NOT work on dry-wall as the mounting plates will dig into the drywall, making it perpetually loose.

I installed these vertically instead of horizontally and the top silver ring keeps falling down that's my only complaint otherwise it works very well.

Easy installation, excellent product

My husband had just had a hip surgery and needed something to hang on to in the bathroom so we purchase These Bars they're excellent, we made sure they installed in the studs of the wall, they were very easy to install. I have not had any problems whatsoever even when you take a shower they don't get slick they're easy to handle my husband was able to get in and out of the shower with no issues.
