Delightful Dishes!

This 16 piece dinnerware set for 4 is great! I got it to change things up a bit and mix up things in the kitchen and I love the look and feel of these dishes - strong, sturdy, and durable! This has large dinner plates, smaller dessert plates, salad/cereal bowls, and soup/dinner bowls (4 each). I love the white speckled look on the dessert plates and bowls and the tan brown trim along the edges is also pretty. The dishes are both microwave and dishwasher safe - super easy cleaning! And the dishes are packaged nicely, with protective cardboard layers and smaller boxes inside to ensure safety during shipment! Great dinner set!

This 16-Piece Dinnerware Set is a beauty to behold. I love the color, the quality and the shapes it came in. The soup bowl set is my favorite. The flat plates are wide enough to contain reasonable quantity of food. Its really easy to.wash and store as well as durable. This dinnerware set adds beauty to my kichen. I love it

Beautiful Stoneware Dinner Set

The Gibson Elite Matisse dish stoneware set is very elegant and looks amazing. It comes with four settings and sixteen pieces in total. This set feels very durable and have a great taupe design. I definitely like the gloss finish on the dishes and it makes the table setting look inviting. Definitely looking forward to uses this set a lot.

Beautiful Stoneware Set

This is a high quality 16 piece set of dishes in a beige or taupe color with lovely markings made by the firing of reactive glazes. I've never had a dinnerware set before that had two types of bowls included so that one kind could be used for soup or stew, and the other was taller and could be a cereal, salad or ice cream bowl. It is a place setting for four, and in addition to the two types of bowls, there are dinner plates and salad/dessert plates. The cereal bowls can hold 25 oz. while the dinner bowls can hold 31 oz. of food. I had never heard the term reactive glaze before, so I did a little research and found that they are glazes that contain additional elements that provide changes in color and texture and produce products that are more varied and organic in nature. Things like unevenness, cracking and blemishes may be part of the organic appeal. I'm so happy that I have this new addition to my dishware collection because it is so beautiful and different from my current black stoneware. Now I can choose between them to have two completely different looks for my dinner table.

Beautiful Dinnerware Set

This is very beautiful and sturdy dinnerware set. I expect they will last for a very long time. They have held up really well with no wear from either the dishwasher or hand washing. The bowls are nice and deep. Everything stacks really well for storage in a standard kitchen cabinet. Would highly recommend.

Very elegant

I love this dinnerware set. First off, I'm obsessed with the salad bowls (which I think are possibly pasta bowls but I dont eat pasta) These are perfect for serving if you also like to have a large side salad with dinner (and are tired of it spilling out of little salad bowls). I love that the soup bowls are very deep so you can have a good serving without it being near the brim and spilling. The large plates have detailing on the side, and the small plates have the pattern in the center like the bowls. It's extremely good quality, heavyweight, and it was packed very very well - nothing scratched nor chipped.

Gorgeous Dinnerware Set

This Gibson Elite 16 Piece Dinnerware set is absolutely gorgeous. It's so well made, modern, chic and just what a today's family needs. The set includes 4 of each- 10.5" Dinner Plates, 8.5" Dessert Plates, 5.25" Cereal Bowls and 8.25” Dinner Bowls. The dinner bowls are great for soups, salads or pasta, just the perfect size. I love the design and color of this set. The Taupe color in amazing. The Gibson Elite Matisse 16-Piece Dinnerware Set are also dishwasher and microwave safe and seem to be very durable and chip resistant.at this point.

The Gibson Elite Matisse dinnerware was packaged very well for shipping. Every plate and bowl arrived undamaged. There were several boxes inside the large shipping box with added cardboard cutouts so there would be no movement inside the box. The small bowls, small dishes, and large bowls were in their own separate boxes. The large plates were divided into two boxes. The Gibson dinnerware could easily be sent as a gift without any worry that it would not arrive intact.

Beautiful set of dishes

These dishes look very elegant and beautiful. I like the attentionnto detail in thebdesign on the bowls and the color is very nice so it will go with any decor. These have a good amount of weight and thickness without being too heavy to carry. They appesr to be crafted well with no bubbling or defects. I really like how easy they are to wash by hand or dishwasher.

Classy Set of Dishes

This dish set is of wedding present quality. By that I mean it is something to be proud of and to keep. I checked each plate and bowl and could not find any flaws. The glazing is the same across each piece. There are no cups and saucers, but to tell you the truth, how many people use them nowadays anyway. I really like the large bowls for they can hold enough without having to refill. The patterns on the pieces are kind of fun. The smaller plates have almost a starburst look to them. They are a little heavy, I will admit that, but not overly heavy. These dishes truly are classy and they make even my humble soup and bread supper look pretty impressive.

The Gibson Elite Matisse 16-Piece Dinnerware Set - Taupe is a very nice looking dish set! The big plates and all the bowls have a unique design on the outside. The smaller plates have the design on the serving surface. There are four large dinner plates and four smaller salad plates. Also included are two different size bowls. There are four large soup bowls and four smaller salad bowls. Very nice looking set of dishes! Dishwasher and microwave safe. I would definitely recommend these dishes to anyone needing dishes or looking to upgrade their old ones.

What makes this Gibson Elite Matisse 16 piece dinnerware set primarily perfect for my friends are the 8 bowls you get. 4 cereal bowls and 4 dinner bowls. They do not use the 4 dinner plates or the 4 dessert plates. And they feel like they are fancy because the dishes sparkle with a pretty multicolored glaze, but at the same time are microwave and dishwasher safe. The price fit my budget perfect too. Good quality, Gibson!

Beautiful Dishes

They are very beautiful are each piece is slightly different giving them nore of a handmade organic look. They have held up really wear with no wear from washing and using the dishwasher even with an abrasive cleaning tool. The bowls are really deep to make up for the fact that they aren't that wide but do hold the same amount as a standard cereal bowl. Everything stacks really well but the bowls do take up a bit more space but since the bowls aren't as wide I can stack 2 bowls in front of one another in a standard kitchen cabinet for reference. I highly recommend.
