Perfect

This fan light combo was exactly what we were looking for. The light dims which is ideal and the fan has three speeds with a remote. Looks terrific in our three-season room and we couldn't be happier.

The extension is not finished to match the fan.

I assumed the extension sold for the fan would match the finish of the fan... nope. The fan is great but it would have looked awful with an off-colored extension

Important piece

This is an important piece that I wouldn’t have thought of on my own to buy. Our installer discussed lengths with us since we have high ceilings and the down rod that came with the fan was only 4” which would have put the fan at ceiling level. Thankful we had that discussion before we purchased the fan and would have had to go back and buy the piece.

This item was suggested by a Wayfair shopping helper. They missed the mark completely after assuring me it was the right product. It was, in fact, the wrong color, the wrong size and did not work with the item for which it was ordered. Both items were on the same order so there should not have been an error in ordering them together.

We bought a new fan without realizing we would need a longer downrod so this was exactly what we needed to complete our look. Great quality!

12" downrod to go with Kichler Lucien fan

Bought the 12" downrod to go with the Kichler Lucien ceiling fan. Easy to attach to the fan; fits tight with no wobbles

This 12 inch downrod was an extra piece required to install the 60 inch Abram fan on the 30 degree sloped ceiling in my garden room. It has threads and holes on both ends.

Worked well. True to size. Not quite the rubbed bronze advertised. But our fab is so high it doesn’t really matter.

Packaged nicely and arrived in perfect condition. It isn’t exactly the color I was going for (not the manufacturer’s fault) but it’ll work. This is a little more on the lighter side of bronze and definitely has the brushed look. I’ll include a picture of the rod with a piece of our fan for color reference.

I learned the importance of knowing ahead of time to double check the circumference of the rod needed as well as whether it needed to be threaded or not . I never realized there were so many variations of bronze either .

Matches finish of the fan perfectly!!!!

I had a Kichler fan, new in the box, that I was having trouble finding a matching down rod. I found lightingnewyork.com which is a Kichler authorized dealer and found the rod I had been looking for in minutes. I wanted so much to install my fan and now I can!! Thanks for having great stock to choose from! 100% Good!! Easy to change out to longer rod! None whatsoever.

Disappointed with Return Policy

I bought these items with 2 fans. I ordered the wrong length. I was very disappointed that I am not able to return the item. this was not a special order, they were a stock item .I had the box and would have gladly paid a restocking fee. they were not used. I now have 2 rods that I will never use. Sue I bought this item with my fan. I ordered the wrong size. I was surprised that I could not return the item since it was a stock item and not a special order. I had the box and would have gladly paid the restocking fee. Now I am stuff with 2 rods that I will never use.

Go with what you know works

I am a believer in doing things right the first time. I needed a new ceiling fan. I chose a kitchler fan that required a longer down rod than what was included. This down rod is perfect. Perfect match to the finish of the fan casing, and perfect fit. If you play around with anything else you run the risk that it won't be perfect.

Not needed, not required

I have a 10 foot ceiling and the site recommended an 18" downrod. Clearly the short downrod supplied with the fan was more than adequate. I have had the fan with short downrod installed for a few months now and the fan functions fine....at low speed during a hot spell there was plenty of air movement. The 18 inch downrod would have been waaaay too low. However...if you need an 18 inch downrod this is a good product (what can I say, it's only a threaded rod?)
