Quality was average. Would have liked a non-slip surface for grabbing which I believe is sold but was unavailable and too costly at the time of purchase. Having looked at previous reviews I was aware of warnings that the quality of screws that come with the product were of lower quality. Such an essential component should be of top quality. I took extra precautions of drilling largest pilot hole possible for proper securing and only using manual installation of screws to prevent screw head striping.

Rugged and Attractive Hand Grab

A higher than normal step into my cellar door put a strain on my 70-year old knees. With this hand grab mounted on the side jamb between the door and the screen, I now easily pull myself up.

Cetainly does what it is supposed to do.

My husband installed this to help me while I recover from a badly broken ankle, and it is terrific. Very solid feel.
