Great Crappie Jigs

I have tried around a half dozen of the colors and they are all amazing. My #1 choice for crappie, but I have also caught a few bass and even small pike cant resist them.

Catches many types of fish

I actually use these for lookdowns in south Florida. They work great on a 1/16 or 1/8 oz. jighead. Anything hits them. I’ve caught jacks, snook, snappers,ladyfish and the lookdowns on these jigs.

No mess

Works great. Better than messing with minnows. Caught more fish than guys using minnows.

A Nice Little Soft Plastic

These things work great. I've caught bass, as well as multiple other panfish on them (my favorite is the all white color with the itty bitty jig heads). You can jig them, use a float, or just straight retrieve and they'll work pretty good. My only problem with them is they break pretty easy. Hooks just tear them up. Oher than that their good though.

Great bait, but sadly the Quality Control is bad

Every year, Bass pro would have their Crappie sales and these would be almost half off. Every year I would stock up when these go on sale. Unfortunately this year I'm tired of getting packs that have short tails, or bent tails. Yes the Bass Pro's return/exchange policy is great, but I have exchange the bad packages twice, only to receive products that have the same flaws. Because I buy in bulk,,and do not open the package until I need them,it's fustrating to come across these flawed packages when on a fishing trip. And generally, it's not just one package, it's sometimes the whole order. I have started looking elsewhere, and these flaws do not exist from other places. Yes it's at full price, but it'll saves me a lot of headaches.

Good product

Always love the Bobby Garlands for crappie. Consistent and economical - no need to reinvent the wheel. They just work.

Only crappie lure you need

These are the only crappie lure you need. I've used plenty and even others from the bobby garland line like stroll'r, swim'r etc. Every crappie jig works but nothing works as consistently as these. When people say "use a bobby garland" they mean this 2 in baby shad. Everyone has their favorite colors but I'm not sure it even matters. white, monkey milk, chartreuse/licorice, lights out and some of the moglo I like on 1/32 or 1/16 jigheads. Quit experimenting and just use these in every situation, trolling under a bobber, shooting docks, in a pond, etc. Caught tons of crappie and they'll also catch yellow bass, white bass, largemouth, perch, skipjack, channel catfish, and probably any other fish in the lake

Cajun Cricket is a favorite in New England

I purchased and tried four different colors this year, Mayfly, Cajun Cricket, Chartreuse Silver and Bluegrass. Cajun Cricket was my (and the fishes) favorite. I used it from Sept through Nov and had great success catching my target fish, Yellow Perch, as well as some large Fallfish, (which fight better than many game fish species), Pickerel and some finicky Brown Trout. Spinning or jigging from my kayak has never been more fun and I can't wait to use these jigging through the ice this Winter. The Discount Tackle price was a decent amount lower than other places I looked and their color selection for the Bobby Garland Baby Shad is by far the best. Can't wait to try some new colors this Spring. Thanks for a pleasant buying experience ~ I certainly be back.
