This filter does what it’s supposed to do although some sediment does get through. I also find these filters a bit over priced

Excellent Filter

We have a problem with high iron content and biofilm in our well water. The filters we p[urchased last us about a year and clean the water and improve the taste quite a bit. We've been very satisfied with this product for over ten years.

we've used the AP810-2 these past 9+ years or so and honestly, the one or two times we had to resort to an alternate were surprising (in that the filter just didn't hold up as well and the duration between changes was significantly shortened each time) and disappointing (in that the alternate was significantly less $$) but just couldn't hold up to the AP product. So, as long as you keep this item in the production queue, we'll be back again, and again. Thank you!

These filters last about last half - 75% as long as the Aquapure filters that cost more. I don’t know if it’s because they aren’t as efficient or they are too efficient and clog faster because they take out more particles. Either way, I go through them too fast so will be going back to the other brand. In addition, you have to watch out for the rubber ring on the ends from falling off. They are loose and require pressing into place before you install the filter. They work, but for my place aren’t worth the extra trouble and in the end cost more.

Use for a whole house filter. They seem to hold up better than cheaper nock offs.

The susyem is under review--I need 30-45 days to confirm micron size is OK for the new pressure pump.

simple and it works, but not much cheaper.

just like other filters I've used, you just have to know how to work with it. there are no washers. no plastic covers on top and bottom, very simplistic. for the money, I rather have the other kind but I bought what I could get at the time.

This is the best filter I have used. I have tried less expensive filters but they do not compare to the quality and efficiency of this filter. These filters last much longer and do a much better job.
