Great Product/Nightmare Warranty Repair

The Dishwasher is awesome! Dealing with Samsung after the fact is a nightmare. I literally buy the dishwasher from Samsung on the Samsung Website with a Samsung order number yet they can't activate my warranty because they need proof of the order. When I give them the order number they say they can't find it. Really?

Installation woes

Minimal space at best for wiring connections beneath dishwasher. Due to a designated “channel” to accommodate wiring connections, had to drill an additional hole in the flooring to reroute romex. Zero space between bottom of dishwasher and floor surface - could be attributed to the lack of exposed heating element and cleaning attributes that necessitates this. Potential leaks could be problematic at detecting due to this as well. So for DIYers, a heads-up regarding installing.

I miss my old dishwasher

I want to like this product but have been very disappointed in the suite. The auto release is OK, thought I would like it more because I would always open my old one to get it to dry faster, but there is only closed or 1/4 open. Cycle time is long and haven't figured out how to get it to store the last cycle for me to be able to not have to rechoose my settings. not a huge deal, just annoying.

Poor Quality

Purchased unit 13 months ago to have water valve failure. Technician had to replace 2 other parts before finding that the water valve was defective. Samsung said the part was discontinued. The Samsung hotline people were very nice but of no real help. They never called when they said they would. I must have made over a dozen calls to no avail. You would expect a dishwasher to have a longer life than 13 months. Poorly engineered product. Ended up purchasing another dishwasher from another manufacturer. Don't waste your money on a Samsung dishwasher.

Good quality, love 3rd drawer, has cheesy cleaning options with an express option for people who wash before they place in dishwasher but you still want a dishwasher clean cycle for final washing.

This is the dishwasher I never knew I needed!

We've had this for 2 months now, and I love it! My dishes come out sparkling clean, even my pots & pans. It holds a ridiculous amount of dishes, glasses, pots & pans & silverware. The upper 3rd rack is the best thing! It accomodates all the things that took too much room in the top rack & all the little pieces that would fall through the basket or top rack in my old dishwasher. I love that it opens at the end of the cycle. My dishes come out clean & dry!! Delivery was fantastic!

Never installed

THE DISHWASHER HAS been delivered this October 30 but not installed. the first team who delivered it did not install it claiming that they did not have the right parts, even though they were told to buy the needed parts and submit a receipt for reimbursement. They rescheduled the delivery for today and i have been home waiting and again i got a call from them telling me they need to reschedule again, as they were not told that this was an install and that they don't have the required tools. This is so disapointing and such a waste of my time.

I have had this Samsung dishwasher DW80CG5451SR for a few months now and I would definitely NOT recommend it. It's awful.

Doesn’t dry well

Quiet, great appliance-solid. Doesn’t dry dishes well.

NO IDEA can't get it installed

Still not installed 4 days short of 1 Month, Samsung blames RXO, RXO laughs at you while canceling because they booked a day with no installers or their truck magically brakes down.

Samsung dishwasher

Disappointed unit did not come with power cord and it did not say in specification that I would need an electrician to hard wire it the power as my old one had a plug in power cord. Lucky I knew an electrician and had to get my own electrical cable and strain reliefs. Just wanted buyers to be aware whey but this. In addition the unit used aluminum wire not copper wire.

Great dishwasher. Gets our dishes very clean, easy to use and quiet.
