Good for the price

I wasn't prepared for quite how flimsy these feel. The vertical portion is a super thin extruded piece that is shored up by a long, thin (1/4"?) rod that you tighten in the base. That said, I appreciate the nice looking glass base, and the spikes are long enough to make it fairly stable with a heavy speaker, even on my thick carpet. I think in the future, I'd probably go for the Monolith ones.

Great stands, only issue I had was where we used them. Used on concrete floor and the adjustable feet did not have enough play to make speaker level. Give you about 1/4 inch of adjustment.

This stand is not high quality rather simply competent. The threads in the bottom plate for the screw in spikes can be rough and might need to be chased. The hole in the bottom plate is way bigger than the threaded rod making the bottom plate difficult to line up when assembling. Go to the hardware store and get a small piece of clear poly tubing that slips inside the hole in the bottom plate. Cut two pieces a little less thick than the bottom plate. Use them as spacers on the rod and the bottom plate will stay centered when you tighten it up. While you're at the hardware store get two metric nylock nuts that fit the threaded rod. Better than the included plain nuts. If you make those two small improvements the stands are just fine and a steal for $25 A competent stand when it's $25.00 for more money I'd buy other stands.

Great stands at a great price

I own far too many speakers and have far more audio set ups than I need. But when the time came to set up a restored pair of vintage larger bookshelf speakers (23" high, 12" wide, 9" deep) I used a couple milk crates. The wife acceptance factor of two old milk crates in the living room was pretty low, so back into the basement went these lovely speakers from history. Enter these stands.

Quite good-For the price

The glass is pretty nice. There's actually a thin steel rod that runs inside the outer tube that holds everything together. Putting it together it's very clear that it's cheap, but it doesn't look cheap once you have it set up. The pre-threaded holes in the base aren't particularly well made (little bits of metal fillings were left in them), but they work.
