Secure mounting Technique
I bolted my Revel Performa M105 and my B&W CM1 speakers to the stands:
Great value
A great value. Good aesthetics. Well designed and constructed. Materials are good.
Looks very modern and matches my other equipment nicely
Buy it.
Quality exceeds my expectations,a definition of a quality product. Easy to put to together, a very solid stand
Good stand
Almost perfect fit for my speakers. I didn't use the spikes. I ended up buying some screw in M8 feet (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C6JZMBS2?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1). The stand went together easily. It is heavy enough and stable enough that I don't think I need to fill it.
I ordered from Monoprice because of previous experience with their products, and this one did not disappoint. Excellent quality build and finish, easy assembly, and great customer service. This speaker stand is the perfect height for my AV setup, and easily handles my hefty Elac speakers at just the right height.
great stands
had a hard time finding stands sturdy and large enough for my polk lsi9's. Wow impressed by the quality and sturdiness of these. easy to assemble. great value for the price..and just perfect for my needs
great product
great product, easy to assemble, would definitely
Solid Stands, Look Great!
Love the stands, very stable and heavy. Before I purchased them, I read many owners filled them with sand. So before I received the stands I picked up a bag a sand. Once I assembled them and seen each post top and bottom, they are partially covered with a piece of steel so the bolt would screw into it. So I can't imagine anyone "FILLING" them with sand. My guess it would be extremely messy. Given the solid weight of the stand I don't see Any Need to fill them with sand. For the money you just can't beat the quality of this stand. Highly recommend! (without the Sand!)
Low cost stand
I have two Seas Dynaco A26 speakers on these sands. Filled with sand. Solid. Floor spikes go thru my carpet very well. Decent for the price. NOT MADE IN CHINA!
Monoprice 18in Steel Speaker Stand

Basic
No frills stand perfect for center speaker.
Great stands!
I received and put together the stands today. They look good, are very high quality and will accommodate my very large bookshelf speakers. My only concern is that spikes were supplied but not some sort of footers that would work on hard wood floors. Putting discs under the spikes won't work because I frequently move the speakers and stands. In my experience, when speakers on spikes are moved, the spikes easily jump off the discs. I've submitted a question to find out the screw size on the spikes, but it's a hefty screw, and I don't know how easy it will be to get a footer with the right screw size. I may be forced to put adhesive felt strips under the stands. That works but isn't optimal.
Sturdy design
The top plate could have had a bit bigger footprint for the tower speakers I have placed on the stands. I did not use the pegs in the rear to angle the speaker, opting to have the entire speaker base in contact with the top plate. Using the pegs caused stability issues with the towers. I plan to add some friction grip tabs on each corner. I am also considering screwing the speakers into the top plate. Overall, I am happy with the outcome and have the speakers at the correct height for surrounds. Some people had mentioned the stands ringing, but I have not had that issue.
I initially experienced a shipping delay which the company made up for. Once I received my speaker stands I found that they were very intelligently packed. The instructions were clear and simple, everything that was supposed to be there was.
Works great.
18in Steel Speaker Stand
Work perfectly for my over 40 lb. JBL's. Well made. Sturdy steel bottom plate. Would love to see some rubber footers for the bottom plate. Probably wouldn't go over 50 lbs. with these stands. The top plate is perfect for a large speaker and they're nicely adjustable to angle the speakers up.. Well packed too. All in all, very satisfied.
Speaker Stands with large top plates but no cable routing
The Monoprice Stands provide larger top and bottom plates to accommodate larger bookshelf speakers, more so than any other brands I have found. And they are quite sturdy once assembled. Curiously, they provide no ability to run cables through either of their two supporting columns, a serious omission that is provided by most alternatives, and, inexplicably, they lack the ability to fill with sand or shot for added weight, given they lack sealed ends. So nice sturdy stands with larger plates but no added features.
