When they say rough sawn, they are not kidding. Don't expect them to be symmetrical. They worked well. If you are going to paint them, maybe look at the polyurethane ones.

Beautiful solid wood corbels!

Just as described. Beautiful solid wood corbels. They were larger than expected so we had to trim them down a bit. I don't think it was the fault of the description, I just didn't know exactly what size I needed. The wood was a bit pink so we used stain to make them the color we wanted.

Happy with the final results

Good product. Required a little finishing millwork to square them up. Ordered 5 and 1 was about an inch shorter than the rest but it adds character to the project. Overall, very happy with the final results.

I ordered the Mediterranean Rough sawn corbels in Douglas Fir. They are rough for sure. The sides show bumps of the grain and there were knots where the cuts are. Some of the knots were on face of cut and fell out in box. There was also cracking that needed attention. All of it was workable though.

Corbel was nice quality & large enough for my project. Local home improvement stores do not carry these. Very happy with this purchase.

I needed a very sturdy and long (this one is 12") corbel to support the end of a 16" deep counter. This was perfect and easy to drill through to secure to the wall. Smooth enough to paint too without more sanding.

May not be a good choice

I fully understand natural wood and color variation. I sure wish whom ever filled this order would have taken the time to pick two similar cuts. This is problematic adifference.

Super Rough

We imagined rough, saw marks, texture... we got SUPER rough. These are heavy, good quality and VERY VERY rough. Your palm sander will not touch it.
