love the size and especially the depth of the pot. looks like it will last a long time. however i was disappointed as the fish i was cooking stuck on the circle bands in bottom of pot. that is NOT nonstick. hope others things will not stick like that. afraid to try it now.

Very heavy duty fantastic saute pan

This Circulon pan is my absolute favorite. Very heavy duty, lid fits perfectly , nothing sticks to the bottom and for instance when you make a grilled cheese there the eye appealing lines on the bread. Very hearty and has a nice deep side wall unlike other pans. Extremely easy to clean either by hand or in the dishwasher. I use this for everything , even things that some might use a smaller sauce pan for I choose this Saute pan. Couldn't be happier with this. (Received Complimentary Product)

Cooks well

This pan is a mix of a nonstick and stainless steel pan. The exterior is stainless steel, while the interior is nonstick with raised rings of steel. It also has the heft of a stainless steel pan. The steel rings allow you to use metal utensils without scratching the nonstick coating. That is not typically a concern for me, but could be beneficial for those who are less discerning about what cooking utensils they use. I would still be careful, though, because it is still possible to scratch the nonstick part if your utensil hits the pan vertically. The handle remains cool while cooking and the lid fits well so that condensation does not drip out. Because this pan has metal rings, I think it is best to use it as if you were cooking in a stainless steel pan. I allow the pan to heat up over medium heat before adding oil. Once the oil is hot, I then start cooking and adjust the heat accordingly. The tri-ply construction allows the pan to heat up pretty quickly and evenly, but do be mindful of its ability to hold heat. If you are used to cooking in nonstick pans, you may want to lower the heat to avoid your food burning. I did experience sticking while cooking eggs, but it did well in searing meats. I would suggest that this pan is better suited for cooking sturdy proteins and things like grilled cheese sandwiches, and avoid soft foods. Cleanup was also easy. However, the practicality of this pan depends on your needs. If you already have nonstick and steel pans, this line of cookware may not be necessary for you. Suitable for my purposes

I didn't buy it for searing, and can't speak to its quality for that. I would have preferred a version that was just non-stick without the metal rings, but such an option isn't available. Most of what I'd use it for has a lot of liquid, so it doesn't really make a difference for me anyway.

Impressive!

I was very impressed with this pan and now I can't wait to switch the rest of mine over! It's heavy compared to my cheap aluminum type pans but not overwhelmingly heavy. I love that it's scratch resistant, my food cooked evenly and didn't stick. The lid fit well and is also good quality, no loose handles like with some inferior products. I am in love with this pan and have been using it every day to cook. Its high quality (does have some heft to it). I love the way it evenly cooks everything. I really love the pan

I've used for rice dishes and eggs, sausage, etc. I love the color, the lightweight feel, the non-stick surface and the glass cover. The most important is dishwasher safe.

Best pan so far

This is the best pan I've owned so far. I love how it cooks my food so evenly also. It comes clean very easily and with so little effort. I cooked meat in it so far and sautéed vegetables and everything turned out so good. It's a nice heavy duty pan and weighs a few pounds, so I few like it's going to last me for years. Non stick pan

This Circulon pan with lid is great. It is safe to use with my metal tools spatula and such. It is non stick. It really cooks the food well and completely the grooves in pan prevents scratches. My Circulon 3qt sauté pan has been a wonderful new addition to my cookware collection. The pan is a beautiful stainless steel and comes with a lid to cover. Great pan

Great pan!

Really great heavy bottomed non stick pan! I love that I'm able to let my husband and kids use it without worrying about them ruining it. The bottom has raised concentric circles that allow you to use metal utensils without ruining the nonstick coating on the bottom! Ingenious! It heats evenly and quickly, and doesn't seem to have any hot spots. It's a great size for a few people. Good weight to it without being too heavy like cast iron. Overall, a really great pan with great features. I love the glass lid, allows me to take a peak without opening, and it's a breeze to clean. High quality

This is my first higher quality pan and it’s definitely true you get what you pay for. One thing I really like so far is that I can finally use my metal spatula and not worry it’s going to ding up the coating. The soft rubber handle grips on the lid as well as the pan itself are much nicer then having no grip or hard plastic. Another nice thing is that it’s oven safe. I usually cook in my cast iron but it’s a pain to clean so I am now reaching for this often instead, because after cooking with it in the oven I can put it in the dishwasher unlike the cast iron.
