This saucier is beautiful and a good weight while not being too heavy. I like that it has a sealed edge, so I don't have to worry if my husband throws it in the dishwasher. I'm happy with my purchase.

This saucier pan is so versatile that replaces 2-3 others.It makes boiling veggies or carbs, searing protein, stirring sauces and finishing a pasta dish so easy. Making a roux in a high quality saucier pan almost feels like cheating, lol. A must have or beautiful gift for any amateur (or pro) cook’s collection.

Best Saucier ever!

It's not well known that Le Creuset has an excellent line of stainless steel pots and pans. In the past couple of years I've bought 2 of the large Chef's Pans and 1 large frying pan from Consiglio's. Made in Portugal, they're light but solid, with comfortable handles and excellent culinary design.

Beautiful pan, but not a great value.

The pan is lovely, like all Le Creuset pieces. The lid sets it apart from other brands. My discussion is limited to saucier pans- Le Creuset pieces, in almost all settings, are simply the best out there and my preferred brand. I did not use the pan, but I imagine its heat conduction is as superb or better, like my smaller non stick pro saucier pan. I returned this 3.5 qt saucier pan after discovering several other European-made saucier pans at a sale price, with even more/extra ply construction, smooth (no rivets) interior, for less money.

Fabulous Workhorse

This is a fabulous pan, I have been using its little 2 quart brother, for over a year now, and up to a week ago had no idea this one existed!! It is the most perfect size in weight, width and depth. I have only used it twice, but based on how much I use the 2 quart one, I would say this one will be in use almost every day. (so many times when using the two quart, I have longed for one a bit larger!!) I have a large collection of vintage Le Crueset pans, mostly cast-iron and all in Flame Orange and I love to cook in them, However these new ones in steel, are exactly what is needed when cast iron is not the first or ideal choice. Yes they are spendy! but you will only buy them once. Some of my vintage Le Crueset pans are getting on for 65 years old, and they are still great to cook in. If you can only buy one pan this year, this would be your best choice.
