I purchased a Demeyere skillet because of the brand's reputation for retaining a flat, un-warped bottom to the cooking surface when using it as a fry skillet, plus the ability to put it (with a lid) in the oven at realistic temperatures.

Good skillet. I bought it to saute' and fry meats. Cooks evenly.
Really wonderful pan!
I love the ?helper handle? on this pan (which is one of the reasons I ordered it). I also love that the heat doesn?t transfer to the handles and it is very easy to clean.

Nice Pan
Looks beautiful and the glass cover feels substantial. The inside was a little rough- used, hand wash that included a good scrubbing with Kleen King. Have used this for about a month- finally the inside feels smooth.

New pan
Very happy with this pan even though I ordered it thinking I was purchasing a 10? (in a hurry). Cleans up great even after I burnt bacon in it first use??

It really good. It doesn’t stick (anymore than nonstick). I let the pan heat up on medium Or just lower than medium.

5-ply pan does not live up to hype.
Although searing salted and peppered meat without using fat does work in terms of creating a good sear, there's not enough fond to make a sauce without adding stock, wine. And I can do that in an ordinary pan.
