Very happy with the range hood. Looks pretty and works like a charm. Assembly was very easy as well. Everything I expected.

Horrible directions and assembly

This is the worst range hood I've ever installed. The assembly directions are 100% useless. If your not very very handy then don't buy this. Don't buy this and have someone else install it unless you hate them. After 1.5 days I finally got it together and looks pretty decent. Me and my wife can't get the hand gestures to work. It has 4 fan speeds which is nice and the lights are dimmable.

It doesn’t pull 900 com. I still get steam from pots coming out from under the hood on high.

We were looking for a reasonable, low-profile range hood for our kitchen island and this fit the bill perfectly. I guess the bells and whistles are nice (gesture control and a remote) and work well enough, but it's core functionality and look to match our kitchen is what mattered most to us and it does both of those very well. You probably will need to have a professional do the installation, but that is generally to be expected. Seemed like it wasn't too much trouble to install for someone who knew what they were doing.

I selected this product to install in our riverside cottage. We have a simple vent blower over the range in the ceiling but this should work better. The cabinet over the range is lower than can be used with the hood covers unless we cut those. If the cutting does not go well, I will simply fabricate covers.
