Bad design

This product has a bad design. First of all it's a pain to install it because the flute is very narrow, barely covers the duct. It's nearly impossible to conceal the electric cord inside. Secondly, it's not as quiet as advertised. And lastly, the lights on the hood are weak and barely illuminate only the front of the cooktop.

There is a tremendous amount of vibration in the motor that caused a lot of noise with all three speeds. We had to return it.

Great Range Hood for Our New Outdoor Kitchen

We just had our new Emava ducted range hood installed in our new outdoor kitchen and love it! The stainless steel hood finish beautifully complements our new 30 inch LP grill head, stainless steel cabinets, drawers, and sink. The LED lights are a nice and useful feature, along with the remote. Very nice overall appearance and works great !

Great Replacement Range Hood

Very simple. I had a 30 inch range hood that was about 30 years old, and had a light switch go out. I priced the switch on the internet - cost about $40 to $50 to replace just the switch. I elected to price new range hoods - since I also needed to replace the fan filter. This is the replacement range hood I found, and it fits in the slot that the old one occupied like a glove. Looks great, works great, and price is fantastic.

Sometimes simple is better than fancy

I replaced another hood that I only had for one year when the light switch broke. Decided to go with something simpler and the Empava wall mount range hood fit the bill. It was simple to install and to use. I have only had it in for three weeks and I hope I have it for years to come. Sometimes simple is better than fancy.

bought one of these a year ago was pleased. Recently purchased a second for my basement apartment. Beautiful, easy to install, easy to clean and great price. Arrived well packaged and in good shape.

Great for the price.

I would say this is a great temporary range for our kitchen. We are in the middle of rehabbing our home but certain areas we are halting longer on to save. This range is simple. Needs a plug. But holds up well and looks decent. Im completely satisfied.

Nice range hood for the price

Nice Range hood for the price. This fit perfectly into the 30" opening above my electric glass-top range. My husband first installed two 1" x 2" slats on the underside of the cabinets to give him a better attachment. Total installation took about 20 minutes. The two-speed fan is much quieter than the one on my old hood. The shipping box was well-packed; the hood arrived in perfect condition with protective plastic along the front leading edge. I got this to complete a low budget kitchen reboot with fresh paint and brushed steel hardware. I keep looking at it and thinking "I'm so glad I got that." Recommend.

Big Difference! Stainless Steel Hood

Buying a 40 year old house recently many things were out of date. The Range Hood that was installed in the house when we bought it was this gross beige color and to top it off caked with layers of oil and grease. We have completely updated the kitchen and in doing so have all nice stainless steel appliances, new flooring etc. This Range hood was really the last thing to change to bring the kitchen up to date.

A lot of light!

This is a sharp looking, easy to use, wonderful hood. I was a little concerned about the two lights being enough, but they are more than enough. In fact, you can see them from across the street through the kitchen window when they are lit! I’m extremely pleased with this would.
