does not prohect too much heat
I have the tripod, had it on the hottest setting and was sitting 3-4 feet away and barely felt the heat.
We were looking for a radiant heater that plugged in and had a remote control - but wouldn’t break the bank. This one was the right one for us! It will take the chill of evenings on our covered front porch.
