CONS: Appearance is strictly utilitarian; it's not pretty. Oscillation motor, though very quiet, has a grindy quality which I found irritating; however I've also found use of the oscillation feature to be unnecessary. PROS: Puts out a LOT of heat on the low/400 setting. I'm using it in my home office; it's really doing the job & I haven't even needed to run it on high. The back & sides don't get hot & I don't have to worry about placing it too close to a wall o other furnishings. EXTRA CREDIT: My elderly cat is in love with it; lies on the carpet in front of it & takes heat baths.

Unseasonable warm weather in Texas so it was not used until late November. 3 months later in mid February 1 quartz rod stopped working.
Works as it should
Works as expected. Only drawback is that it doesn’t have a medium setting. Only high or low.

This is a good the only ones I buy comfort zone.the only thing is it doesn't blow.but we love it.even my cats.and it's very quiet.
Buy something else
I have 2 of these. They do not give off very much heat. They may be ok for a 50-100 sq ft room. Otherwise, not worth it.
Comfort Zone Portable Halogen Heater - EXCELLENT
Excellent price - easy to assemble (2 wing screws) - works great - oscillates. Has 2 settings, but I only use the low - can't imagine ever using the high setting. Love the halogen radiant heat. Recommended
