It was made out of stinky molded plastic, not ceramic. It stunk so bad, I would not plug it into the ele.

100W under desk heater - simple, silent, appears to be safe. It gets uncomfortably hot to the touch, but that's all. It was purchased to gently warm a wardrobe cabinet that houses a resin 3D printer. and it does that admirably - target temperature: 30-35 degrees Centigrade. With no motor or other source of sparks, I believe that it is safe in this application. At only 100 Watts, no additional temperature controls have been necessary.

Excellent product. This heater is perfect for a tiny space under the desk. Folks be prepared for gentle heat and this 100 watts is good for tiny spaces only. If you have a chicken coop then its a perfectly safe solution for the application. The heater looks very sleek, classy and rests well on a stand that can be mounted against the wall or the back of the desk. Highly recommend this heater

I work in a State office and we can't use anything that pulls more that 150 watts. So we decided to try the ceramic panels. You pretty much have to be sitting about 6" or less from the panel to feel any warmth. We had to attach the panels to the side of a file cabinet. The foil looking stuff is a joke. It is supposed to radiate back the heat to you that is behind the panel. I choose to not take the adhesive off and permanently stick it to the cabinet as I had my doubts that people would be happy with them. The "feet" are too deep to allow the knobs to be secured to the cabinet (double sided tape) and it was not secure so I flipped it on end and at least the top knobs we able to be secured. We ordered 10 and will be returning them.
