I'm sure this works fine for its intended purpose, but I use it for temporary storage of a multitude of small light weight items. One common example is clothing. I really like the see thru. I don't have to open a lid or untie an opaque bag. And when I'm done, toss some (a whole lot) trash in it and throw it away.
I use these bags for leaf disposal. They fit my trash cans which makes it easy to dump my mower bags in to. Drawstring is much easier to close that tying the end of the bag to secure the load. I've had no problem with this product ripping.
A very good sturdy bag. Not flimsy easy to manage during wet weather. Has many other uses, very durable. Been using them for about 3 weeks. I was doubtful when I ordered them, but I am very pleased.
I use for lawn clean up , taking clothes or shoes to Goodwill. My children come and wash there clothes. Take the clean clothes back in the bags . With them being clear no guess work what is inside .
Sturdy bags, big enough to overhang a standard garbage can, fill, lift, and tie up at the top. You have to gather up the plastic and tie a knot in it. The bags do not have a drawstring, which probably serves to make them an economical choice.
Perfect for leaves
These bags are great for leaves and grass clippings. The bag is large enough to easily fit an entire full lawn mixer bagger attachment. The bag is strong and doesn’t rip. Great deal!
Just OK
The first box of these bags I bought worked great, no problems. The picture on the box changed and I’m not sure if the manufacturer did too. The second box the bags were no longer clear, they were opaque. Then, about 90% of the bags the drawstring came out of the overlap on the bag and could not be tied. I’m assuming a poor glueing process? Anyway, the second box of these I bought are a dud. Will be looking elsewhere for clean yard waste bags.
We use these for so many different things. I like to use them to protect my large pictures in when I’m changing my decorations. That way I can see what is in each bag. Same with my grandsons larger toys when they need to go in the attic.
Cannot see drawstring hole
I like the bags but will go back to using the black ones where I can see the red drawstring thru the hole where you pull.
I love that I can see thru them. Sadly I had to pack up all my pet beds, ( there were 9 just downstairs ) and put them in the attic. I am thrilled I was able to get see thru bags for I see what's in them and also these were big enough to get her whole car seat onto. Love them!
These bags are stronger than most bags. The handles hold up so much better than any bags I have ever tried to use. I also use these clear bags to protect things that don’t fit into a box. For example, Christmas items or any Holiday decorations. It is easy to see what’s in the bag and since these bags are strong I don’t worry about the item falling through the bottom like in the other bags.
Bags With the grey/silver ties are not worth the money
As much as I wanted these bags to work, I will be throwing half of them away- putting my recycling bags in recycling!! I knew that the weight of the bag would make them susceptible to tearing, and even though they will tear, they are about as strong as I expected. What I am really surprised with, and very disappointed in, are the ties on the bags. I estimate one in every seven or eight of my bags actually stay together, the rest pull out of at least one end. This is not due to overfilling the bags from either a weight of volume standpoint- the ties simply break while trying to close the top. I may have been very unlucky and purchased a bad box, but it will be the last box I buy.
No more reinforced top
I use a lot of these bags every year. The first few years I bought them, I was pleased except for the fact that the drawstring would sometimes break when tying them. A few years ago, the boxes started saying "2X REINFORCED TOP" and I had no more problem with the drawstring breaking. Now the boxes no longer claim to have a reinforced top; and when I opened a new box and used two of the bags, the drawstring broke on both of them. I'm no longer pleased.
Straight up Trash
These bags are garbage—literally. Very thin and tear apart whenever you put any weight in them. How people use these for leaves and such is beyond me. Literally any amount of weight in the bag causes it to tear apart laterally from seam to seam. Terrible product.

Great yard bag for leaves, bush trimmings, etc. Over the years I've purchased many boxes of HDX bags. I've recommended this product to neighbors, relatives and friends. Where I live ALL yard debris MUST be in clear plastic bags for the cities garbage trucks to pick up. This is a no brainer.

During certain times of the year I bag rather than mulch when I mow. The City requires lawn debris to be in clear bags. I started buying this brand years ago. They're economical and strong; the two things I look for in grass bags. I'll continue buying these as long as I have a lawn to mow.
Clear Containment
The optimal design problem is cast as a variational statement that is discretized using a vortex lattice wake to model inviscid forces, combined with two-dimensional drag polars to model profile losses. The resulting nonlinear constrained optimization problem is solved via Newton iteration. We investigate the optimal design of a clear containment unit to securely segregate aggregate materials.
Junk
Purchased these to bag up leaves in the yard for our town pick-up. They are complete junk at an expensive price. Don’t waste your time or money. Just holding the bag with one gloved hand while trying to put leaves in with the other yielded holes. My gloved fingers punched through the bag with very little pressure. Likewise, the bag started splitting when it wasn’t even full. Tried a few bags to make sure it wasn’t just one and got the same result. Going to a different store to see if theirs are any better. Manufacturers and retailers have to wake up….things have got to change in this country… customers need and deserve the ability to buy quality products once again that serve the purpose they are advertised to fulfill!
Clearly strong enough for the job.
I bought these needing some decent but not contractor grade bags. Did I get that in spades, these are really good bags.
Low quality
Low quality. These gray color handle and bags were really disappointing. The bags would tear apart like it was cellophane wrapping when using for leaf bagging. I purchased these because the red colored handle type from same brand were out of stock. THE RED COLOR TIE STRAPS ARE MUCH BETTER than these with gray color straps. Do not recommend these bags because of the durability of the lining. These tear very easily.
