Great look, but yes it does chip

We researched many sinks and didn't like the look of composite sinks - even though they were supposedly the toughest. So, we decided to go with the fireclay sink because it gave us the porcelain look but better durability. While it has been more reliable than other porcelain/enamel options, it still does get tiny chips. Most you can only see if you're looking, which is great, but they are still there and noticeable when cleaning. I would still recommend it, though, as I think the look is amazing, but I would just accept that it's not impenetrable. Oh - and it is pretty difficult to stain. We continually test it out accidentally and think we've finally stained it, but using a little comet and a white scrubbing sponge always gets it out. We've had it three years now and it still looks pretty darn good.

Excellent sink utility, size, quality

Replaced a VERY old cast iron that was upper mount. To me, those always have a line of grim around the seam with counter. I wanted a durable, long lasting undermount that gave me a ton of internal space in my moderate external location. In this sink, I seriously GOT great space. The left side is amazingly large, both in width and depth and I LOVE IT!! The right size is perfect for washing veggies or drying dishes that don't go in the dishwasher. I would not go back and get any other sink after having this one!

Great fireclay sink

It’s as beautiful as promised. Plumber handled install just fine. It’s an enormous sink. The basin saving racks are nice because they move items another inch closer to you from the depths

LOVE this sink! Weve had it for 3 years now.... dishes in it alllll the time and we have one tiny black spot from a heavy heavy cast iron pan. As long as youre careful and aware of what youre doing, this sink is hardy, easy to keep clean... we would definitely buy it again!

Beautiful under mounting. Sleek and contemporary. Make sure you have enough room in your under cabinets. It's a little deeper that the old one and things get tight when you're reinstalling a big disposal. Unrelated to this product, make sure your granite installers do not cut the hole for the beautiful sink after they have installed and glued down the granite. Granite dust bomb. We have professional cleaners coming Friday to do the HVAC duct cleaning, tile, and carpet.

Great product but make sure you have enough room to do an undermount - front and rear. Nothing to do with this product, but ended up having to to a top mount. If I had realized that, would have bought the bowl with a faucet hole pre-drilled. Instead, faucet mounted outside back edge of sink.
