Overall we are pleased with the sink. However, there were two issues with the fit and finish.
5 Stars
My company loves these sinks. We install them in all of our new construction and remodel projects. The look great and are easy to clean. We own a property management company with over 80 properties. We have installed eight Kraus sinks in our properties. Our tenants love them, and they instantly update the look of the kitchen. We use the stainless steel and the composite sinks in our homes. Both look great!!!

It replaced my 50/50 split sink. I love having the little extra room on the one side- I can now wash my frying pan without having to do as much maneuvering and the depth is great. The look of the sink is a big upgrade - my old sink was very old. I think having the Kraus name on the sink adds a further touch of class.
I flip houses and could not get the sink i usually use. When I looked on Wayfair I could not believe the price was cheaper than the one I have been using. It is the nicest kitchen sink I have ever installed. It even has a coating that keeps dishes from making a noise. This is my new go to kitchen sink.
just what i wanted
my only suggestion is that they send it with a precut hole for dishwasher backflow. it only has one precut hole for faucet, most come with 2 or 3 (for soap or back flow different faucet types ). My husband is a "jack of all trades" and installed it himself, cut the extra hole we needed and connected faucet - it did take a day though. i wanted a 2 part sink for multiple reasons but needed one side large enough for bigger pans. I am happy with the sink so far but it's only beeen a week,

Excellent quality and a definite upgrade. Being on septic, I really appreciate the basket style filter. Much needed depth and width holds pots, large cutting boards, and sheet pans easily. Only installation issue was that the flange area on the underside of the sink required a “squarer” corner than the template indicated. No issue with wood or MDF counter tops with easy cuts. Might cause problems with solid surface/stone materials.
inferior product
Dissapointing product !!!

It's a nice looking sink, heavy gauge material and well insulated. It was well packaged from the factory, but we opened it at the store before bringing it home - and all checked out OK. As others have mentioned, the template doesn't give you any margin for error: the welded mounting rails are within probably 1/4-3/8" of the outer edge, so make sure to measure twice and cut once. I would give it 5 stars, but the design has a couple nits: You can lay a bead of caulk around the perimeter of your cut to sit the sink down onto, but the shape of the edge is not conducive to making a good seal. Their instructions say to put a bead around the outside after the sink is mounted, which wouldn't look good IMO. The other minor complaint is that under the right angle/light you can see hints of where the mounting rails are welded to the stainless. 99 out of 100 people won't notice them, but I'm kind of OCD like that. Overall, I'd recommend it - nice looking drop-in sink and the nice quality is apparent in the finish. Would be great if they included a drying rack, but that's asking too much.

This is a beautiful sink! It came on time, in a super package, so could not be dented in delivery. We love the sink sizes and the way the edge is finished. Our contractor had no trouble installing it, even with drilling a second hole for another faucet. I really like the press-in stopper on the regular drain. We did not use the strainer drain as we installed a garbage disposal. The extra sound proofing is really nice. Originally we did not want stainless steel for our new kitchen upgrades but after shopping around and comparing features and value, we decided to go with stainless. We were very glad to read about Kraus, the product description and reviews were very helpful. We felt confident ordering a Kraus sink and were not disappointed! [ for do-it-yourself installation it would be nice to have more hole options]

I was impressed from the moment the sink came. The packaging itself alone was a marvel. Once I opened the box I could tell that it was a well thought out piece. The sink was wrapped in a black cinch sack and all the contents were well protected. The sink is a work of art. I never knew that I could get so excited about a kitchen sink. The design is well engineered and gave a lot more space under the sink than I had previously. The whole package oozed quality with the exception of the clamps that hold the sink to the counter. They were not as well made as the one that were on the cheap tinfoil contractors edition sink that I took out. They use slotted screws which were nearly impossible to get a screwdriver on with the limited space and the slots themselves were small. The ones I took out had both a Phillips head and a hex head that I could put a socket on.
Awesome.
Was hesitant to purchase a sink that I was unable to see in person, but this has met all my expectations, and more... When I opened the box, it looked like it had been gift-wrapped! The sink was cradled in a substantial amount of packing materials. Once those were removed, I found the sink in a canvas-type bag (with the Kraus logo,) which was encased in heavy plastic. The sink stopper and drain were packed in plastic, in solid cardboard boxes. And, Kraus even provided a logo dishtowel! I've had it about 6 weeks now, and could not be happier. It looks just as good as the day it arrived. What a great complement to my new counter top. Check out the before and after photos attached. You will see what a difference this sink makes in my kitchen. It replaced two sinks that were 7" deep and 16" wide, which translates to useless to anyone who actually uses their kitchen sink. Highly recommended.

Wonderful Sink!! We have had this sink for about a month. First - the box it came in was so sturdy there is no way it could get damaged short of being crushed. The sink came in a cloth-like bag for more protection. It comes with its own drain assemblies so no extra costs. It has it's own towel if you want to wipe it dry after each use. The drain for the smaller side of the sink has it's own removable basket which makes it perfect for prepping vegetables, etc. The stopper on the larger side of the sink seals just by pressing it down. Doesn't rely on rubber to make a seal. The sound dampening system is the best I've seen. Some customers comment about how the sink scratches - it's a stainless steel sink. It's going to scratch. I don't believe there is anything you can do to not scratch stainless steel. Our plumber said it was an extremely easy install. So far, I can find nothing to dislike about this sink. If in need, I would definitely order a sink from Kraus again and will recommend them to others.

Purchased a Kraus based on reviews and that my brother had recently had an under mount stainless installed. First concern is that the shipping box had been literally cut open as received at the house - as in the end of the nice box gone! Fortunately no damage. Next issue is that the c-channel sections to which the mount clips are attached were not spot welded very perpendicular to the sink. They were tilted outward making the install difficult as they did not clear the counter cut-out. This required me to use a router and fill the kitchen with dust... grrr! Further, the clips provided were of poor quality, as compared to the those on the old (Dayton) sink, and the sink corners do not sit flush to the counter. I believe the sinks metal forming process and/or their QA check is failing to assure that mounting surface to be flat. This required a bit more caulking than I like, but not a show stopper.
Does not scratch easily
I hesitated on this purchase because some reviewers said that the sink scratches easily. These reviewers must not be used to stainless steel sinks. It does not scratch any more than any other stainless steel sink that I have had. Which is to say, I give it no special treatment, I put metal pots in it and on it and there is a normal amount of marking on the bottom of the bowl and none on the edges.
Good product at a good price
Weather (apparently somewhere I don't live) delayed the UPS shipment but the product was packaged very well - in a nice reusable hardboard box and also draped in a black drawstring bag. All the accessories (a towel, the drains, the attachment hardware) were easy to find and a cut-out template was included. The sink is constructed well and appears to be durable. The installation and care instructions are clear and the literature included indicated Krauss' pride in their stuff.
