I love the ability to regulate the temperature on the stovetop. And better yet is the simplicity of cleaning the surface. It shines in less that a minute.

Great control

I love the look and heat control on this cooktop. I've only had it for a few days but it's a huge improvement over my GE glass cooktop that was not induction. So far, it's been easy to operate and wipe clean.

It's great

I've had the unit in and working for a couple of weeks, and it's great. It heats much faster than gas, has great temperature control, and is so much easier to clean than gas. I also love how much cooler it is in the kitchen with this cooktop since most of the energy is actually going into cooking the food. It does make some odd noises at high outputs, but I had heard about that in other reviews. Nothing troubling. Shipped promptly, delivery was good, installed it myself, and it was easy.

Great Look and Features

Love the style, look and connectivity. I've only owned it for a couple of weeks and it's my first induction oven, so I'm still getting used to that. I'll reserve a higher racing until I've see how it works over a longer period of time. So far it's excellent.

Terrific Cooktop

The GE Cafe Induction cooktop replaces a Wolf gas cooktop and we are thrilled with the decision. We love both the cooktop and how induction cooks food.

Pretty but does NOT work!

Purchased this in November of 2023 and it was recently installed in my newly remodeled kitchen.

Safe and fast

Boils water in seconds. Safe to use without turning on fan.

Love my new induction cooktop!!

Love my new induction cooktop!! So fast to heat things up, very responsive too. Easy to clean surface which can double as bonus counter space. We can't get the app to synchronize with the cooktop though, that's so far the only downside, but that was a perk, not a requirement.

STAY AWAY at all cost, worst cooktop I've ever purchased. I bought this in May 2024 and have had to have repairmen out to my house 3 times. I have currently been wiating over 2 months for GE to repair it a 3rd time!! Apparently regular 2.5ghz or 5 ghz signals interfere with it and render it useless, even though it will turn on and appear to be working. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND STAY AWAY! I thought GE Cafe was a good, trustworthy brand, until I purchased this lemon!

GE cafe is junk

The absolutely worst cook top I’ve ever owned. Paid almost 3 thousand dollars for this cool top, had it replaced after 3 months due to defects. The second cooktop isn’t any better, you want to wait till infinity to boil 2 cups of water, then this induction cook top is for you. Such a waster of money and everything to try and get one delivered that actually works, can’t get a new one delivered because GE has the worst sully chain issue of any company you will ever deal with. Complete junk!

The controls are too sensitive. It is difficult to get a burner turned on quickly because sometimes you have to work with the touch.

Powerful and attractive

Simple to use and powerful enough to bring a large pot of water to boil easily 5 x faster than a conventional electric cooktop. No knobs or buttons to get cruddy or burnt. The specialized Hestan pans for Sous vide cooking are not available anywhere at the moment and other reviewers have mentioned that they frequently have trouble getting these to work with Bluetooth and the temperature probe. Otherwise, I would have rated 5 stars.

I had another brand induction cooktop that was a lemon and horrible customer service and experience. I am LOVING this cafe induction cooktop, so easy to use, touch pad has never been a problem and easy to clean!
