Followed the instructions. I had an extra pair of hands which made for a smooth install. I ordered the charcoal filter ahead of time and it fits in the space allowed in the grease filter. The fan is a little noisy. One month of operation and overall a decent hood at a good price.

It works great and the price was unbeatable. Even a low cost appliance store, was trying to sell me this same one for at least $75. I like how you can use this for circular or rectangular ducts. The only criticism I had is that I was not warned that there was no plug included. Good thing I saved the one from the hood that I replaced
