We are very happy with the iKTCH range hood that we purchased from Home Depot. It has a quiet and powerful fan motor, nice LED light and controls. It even has a touch less feature for the fan switch. The quality is great, I highly recommend!

Upon opening the box I noticed the chimney was painted white while the hood was stainless steel. I had ordered an all stainless steel and this was incongruent with what I had order so I just returned it to HD right away. Two different finishes and the online image doesn’t display such variations. The hood also looked like it was a returned item with several scratches. Such an inconvenience for a timed kitchen project.

Total Garbage

I bought this Range hood for my vacation home in May 2023 and after one year it doesn't work anymore. Good luck trying to contact them using the "hotline customer service" number. It's just a voice mail. The home depot shows a 2 year parts only warranty but their manual shows only one year.

This range hood has exceeded my expectations. My dad and I installed it in no time and it looks very high end and has the performance and features to match. I showed my uncle thru video chat and he ordered a under cabinet mount model that I'll be installing today for him. I highly recommend iKTCH as a quality manufacturer of kitchen appliances.

Great hood with a gotcha!

To start off this is a great hood very quiet with lots of air movement. Now the not so good points: The unit came covered in a white protective film to prevent scratches. On installation removing this film was difficult and time consuming. The adhesion of the film was greater than its strength. Instead of coming off smoothly it would tear frequently. I discovered the difficulty on the chimney after the hood was already installed on the wall. To make matters worse once removed it left a sticky residue in spots that would not come off using any standard cleaners. To aid film removal on the hood itself I used a heat gun to warm the metal first which made it slightly easier and left less residue. I purchased some stainless-steel polish which with some elbow grease removed the residue. In summary the hood looks and works great just beware that the film should be removed before installing the hood on the wall.

[Rewarded Review] 900 cfm

Man, do yourself a favor and only buy stuff over 500 CFM. This one is rated at 900. You don't always have to use it on the highest setting but it's good to have. To get 900 cfm you have to use a large duct size. Can't run a 5 inch and expect to get the full 900; that'll also create a louder noise or whistle, too. This is a "no name" brand but fan type products are very reliable and should last you 10+ years. Just keep your filters and oil cups clean. I like that it comes with the remote for others in my house, but I just like turning it off by touching it. Also, you don't want to be too high above the stove or it won't catch a lot of the smoke. I set mine at 31" which is a tad higher than the recommended height but I don't want to hit my head when I cook

This range hood will be used in the ongoing renovation of our vacation cabin kitchen. My first impression is this will be an outstanding addition to our kitchen. The remote control will certainly prove to be handy. It comes with almost everything necessary for installation. I do not recommend using the supplied plastic anchors however. I recommend attaching it directly to a wall stud or if you have a concrete or block wall using lead anchors and lag screws. Included with this vent is 6 feet of flexible metal ducting and the adapter to attach the ducting. You can also use this without the ducting using the included charcoal filter.

This is a beautiful 36" Kitchen Vent. Out shape is nice and attractive. Round edge corner is well dress up its gentle shape. A square wall mount vent pipe cover is provided to dress up the wall finishing look. Stainless Steel housing is a major benefit either lasting also consider the cleanliness. A Removable Stainless Steel Air filter also is one of the best benefit for you can clean the filter easily without change air filter and keeping the best air flow as they are. As you know oil mostly will condensed on the filter. don't forget to get heavy grease removal detergent for the work. With a centrifugal fan design plus 4 speed control. Which help achieve the best air flow performance. A Flip-Flap cover is installed on the exhaust port to anti air feed back. this part mostly is option to purchase separately. Control panel is clearly visible and a gesture sensor is enclosed to add additional control benefit, even your hand is busy with other works, just swing your hand then it will start work for you. Oil drainage is also well concerned. a removable oil canal is inserted inside the hood lower edge and oil cup is included which will install under the underneath of the motor housing. Noise level is acceptable range. the noise wont cause you headache. Installation may fire a Pro to install for you. Do-it-yourself, I strongly recommend a stronger anchorage screw is required to secure the vent permanently . On whole this a well comprehensive design kitchen vent. For Quality and the Price which is reasonable for today market. Good Luck

This iKTCH 36 in. 900 CFM Ducted Wall Mount with LED Light Range Hood is made of stainless steel which makes it easy to clean and durable. The fan has four speeds and can de-smoke a kitchen in a brief time. The controls are digital and can be controlled on the touchpad or by the included remote control. The three stainless grills can be easily removed and can be washed by hand or in the dishwasher. The exhaust is an ample 6-inch with a damper. The plate that hangs the hood has two keyhole slots that hook to the anchored mounting screws. The protective film that covers the hood and rectangular chute that hides the duct were extremely hard to remove. The hood comes with a six-foot power cable with a three-prong plug. In most cases, you need to run and wire a dedicated receptacle preferably inside the chute area.

Wish it was deeper (front to back) to cover the...

Wish it was deeper (front to back) to cover the entire range ie. front burners. Nice looking for the money. Easy to install. It has a powerful fan. Negatives... only 1 setting on the light and the 2 led lights are not that bright. Also, not crazy about the motion sensor to turn on the fan speed. It is finicky to say the least. Other than that, not a bad value.
