Purchased these to replace a few burnt out bulbs. Was easy to install. A little too bright for my ceiling height. Better for a higher ceiling or if it had a dampening lens

Made a buzzing sounds

Delivery came a later than estimated, and when I connected the light to the outlet, it emitted a buzzing noise. I tested with several of the lights. Unfortunately, this seller does not accept returns, so I would not recommend this purchase.

If you dim them, they will hum...

Tried these with 2 different housings, led dimmers, and circuits and they all produced a hum. No hum with a normal or no switch. Love the features, but need the dimming and can't live with the hum. Returning.

Honestly I am a bit disappointed and I am looking to return them. I was happy with the amount of light and the ability to adjust the settings. What I did not like was the fit with inside the existing fitting and an audible buzz that they made. I hope this helps.

Not that same as the old version!

I already have 4 of these in a room I finished in my basement 2 years ago. Due to the glare in another room I decided to install these again. This room just happens to be my home office. After sitting in here now for about 4 hours it sounds like there is a swarm of bees in each light. Yes, all 4 of them. I can sit in the other room with the older version for hours and read with out hearing this god awful buzzing noise. I enjoy the reduction in glare but may be returning.

The lights looked great, however I do not believe that these can be used with a dimmer. I tried several LED+ dimmers and the lights continued to buzz. Unfortunately I had to return them.

I've learned over the years to always trust Commercial Electric. They have leading edge technology and for example.. they give a lot of lights color options! I love how I can change the LED color on these and a lot of their other products. Hampton Bay has been doing the same and makes good lighting as well. But, Commercial electric makes more recessed cans and lighting. Trust them, they are good. They always have high star reviews, as well.
