This light is super-easy to install. It's adjustable and ideal for use where you have high ceilings, above a table, in a stairwell or over a kitchen island since it cannot be shortened a great deal. The finish is aged brass and black paint. It's built very well. I know this because when I was mounting to the electrical box in the ceiling, it shipped out of my hand and fell to the floor. I was happy to see that it didn't damage it one bit. The fixture comes without bulbs but after looking around, I found some very similar to the ones that showed on the box - except that they were not pointed at the end. At any rate, you can use any E26 type bulb, of Incandescent, CFLs or LED type with a 60 watt equivalent. As I do with all of my light fixtures, I used a Lutron dimmer and that makes it just perfect.

This an interesting light fixture that really adds character to any space. The finish on the parts is impeccable and the fixture comes well-packed - happily, without non-recyclable styrofoam material. The kit includes alternate socket covers finished in aged brass. These can add a bright accent for those who prefer them. Assembly is straight forward with the wiring fed through lengths of down rod tubing. The kit includes a primary rod that attaches to the fixture (10 inches long), a six-inch length and three 12-inch lengths for a maximum length of 52 inches.

This light is easy to install and is adjustable but still too long to install in normal ceiling height unless is above a table or island because it hangs too low for walking under it. I got it for my laundry room and after looking at the attachments and the way it’s installed, there was no way to make it short enough unfortunately. I was so happy to find a light that came with the aged brass socket since I had a difficult time finding a nice farmhouse light that was black and aged brass. It doesn’t come with bulbs, but you can buy any 60 watts E26 or CFLs or LED equivalent bulbs.

Very nice light. My wife loves these spudnic style lights so we have a few of them. This was well packaged and set up easily. It is pretty easy to install. The other similar lights we have are from waifair. These feel a little less quality but that’s just speculation. Once installed you can’t tell the difference between the two brands, these are priced much better also. Overall I’m glad we got them.
