This pot had all the features I wanted at a price that was a fraction of popular brands you'd find at a high-end cooking store such as Williams-Sonoma. The pot is well made, professional quality, tri-ply with an aluminum core, has a solid long handle on one end and a loop handle on the opposite site. It is induction-ready (haven't tried yet). It comes with a lid. I've happily used Tramontina non-stick frypans for decades (after previously spending hundreds of dollars on similar All-Clad products) so I had no hesitation trying this pot.

Good looking 4 qt. saucepan

This is my first pot from this company. It is a good looking 4 qt. saucepan with tall, straight sides and a lid. I purchased it to replace a pan with a disk bottom. The helper handle is a good size and necessary. The lid handle, however, is rather dainty! It should have more room for a potholder, or an oven mitt or beefy fingers, so I knocked off one star. I cooked rice, soup and pasta in the pot and all went well. I like the pot, and it's priced right.

The perfect in-between size sauce pan!

As with all of my other Tramontina cookware purchases this 4-qt sauce pan is beautiful and the perfect in-between size. I have only had it a couple weeks and have used it multiple times.

I knew the brand since I´ve lived in Brazil. When I found here, I couldn´t be happier! It is perfect making my recipes works really well. I´m pretty satisfied with quality, shipping and price.

At this price-point, an excellent product - has a good heft and well-made. I have a smaller Tramontina that has been a stellar performer and I expect this one to be also. Particularly like the extra loop. So a very useful size (4 qt) and a lid and an extra loop handle and a price that is one-quarter of the brand you compare it too - this purchase made me happy. Also very well packaged and delivered quickly.

Professional cook ware with some heft.

Very disappointed.

The steel used for this pot is very low quality. It started to discolor after the very first use and has only gotten worse over the three weeks. Stainless Steel is supposed to be non-reactive metal.

Tramontina Tri-Ply are fantastic pans, the best!

I have many of these Tramontina tri-ply pans -- sauce pans and skillets -- and bought this to complete my set. These are twins to All Clad but without the hefty price. Don't hesitate to buy. These are the best stainless pans. Period!

Great sauce pan

This is a great sauce pan! Very well made! It is heavy but it is stainless steel. Im used to cast iron so thats not a problem for me! The lid fits well and works great for making rice in the oven! Well worth the money!

Perfect 4 Quart Pot!

I love, love, love this pot. It meets or exceeds all my "wants" for this purchase. I needed a larger pot for soups and well, just about everything. (I cook larger quantities, so we can have leftovers and I can cook fewer times per week. Cook once, eat twice!) The fully clad pot heats evenly and holds the heat. The helper handle was, for me, a must have. Many of the other brands I compared to this one didn't have the helper handle. For a pot of this size and substantial weight, when full of food, the additional handle is great to have. Also, Tramontina's regular pot handles (not the helper handle but the other one) are nice and thick, not thin as some similar pots have. I have no complaints whatsoever. Also, Walmart got this shipped my local store for me to pick up in 2 days - I was impressed.

Tramontina 4-Qt Tri-Ply Clad Sauce Pan

Excellent pan. I bought it back in 2014, having seen it (I think) on America's Test Kitchen. Not completely sure of that but I believe I remember correctly. Anyway, it is not as heavy as All-Clad (which for me, actually, is a bit too heavy) but boy, does it work well. Very even heat. I think it was a real bargain at the price I paid (around $50). I highly recommend it.

LOVE this pot

I like to make big batches of cooked pudding and this is the perfect pot for it. It is big enough for my batches and the tri-ply cladding helps keep it from scorching.

Tramontina cookware are great to cook with

I love Tramontina tri-ply stainless steel cookware. It has proved to be the best cookware I have invested in. I am so impressed with this cookware, that I have started collecting them. No question, the quality and craftsmanship of this cookware could be compared to All Clad, but the price of Tramontina cookware can't be beat! My collection is almost complete, I just need the 3qt and the 12qt. Thank you Tramontina for making the best cookware, and thank you Walmart for excellent customer service and great products.
