These bulbs would work well in a bedroom because they are not very bright. I chose to return 2 of these because I needed brighter bulbs for my living room. I had already opened 2 bulbs to try them and did.not have the original packaging. They came in a 4 pack so.I could only return 2.

One the lights are very YELLOW! Also they were recommended for the fixtures I bought ( 9 dimmable fixtures ) When my contractor arrrived and saw the bulbs said it would be a fire hazard to use them for the purpose I purchased for. Because I had them over the allotted time they are charging me for each box x 5 for Fedex $40.00 dollars...are you kidding me! I could not believe it...nor could my contractor. Know that if you buy from them there is no grace when the site actually recommends a product to go with another and it is inaccurate. Last time I order with Wayfair. There are enough good vendors who don't even charge shipping to have to deal with this. They lost a customer today.

Don't order these for the kitchen pendant lights! Ugh. I don't know what prompt made me think these lights would be good for our lights. They are not "warm" light - they are yellow. And a strange shape. These should only be suggested for very specific lights I would think. Total waste of money - sending to good will since I no longer have the packaging, etc.

These light bulbs are absolutely beautiful, I love the Amber hue. The only thing is that theyre too dim. Even with four light bulbs, they are not enough to eliminate a dining room well enough. We will be buying 60 w if they make them available. I would have given them a four or five star if they were bright enough.

Do NOT order these bulbs for a bathroom fixture. They are yellow/orange lights and do not qualify for return shipping costs because they were not "damaged or broken". Associate said the website description did not specify "white light" so again were not eligible for return shipping. These bulbs provide more "mood lighting" than lighting appropriate for putting on makeup. VERY unhappy.

These lights are very amber yellow in color; too yellow in my opinion for a bathroom. They are the recommended bulbs for the light fixture I bought but the bottom of the bulb extends below the cone of the light cover so it looks funny if you are pointing the cones down. Additionally, the expense of returning these bulbs was the last straw for me with this Wayfair purchase; disappointed all the way around.

The bulbs are unique and interesting shape and look but this lighting is terrible for a bathroom. Wayfair said that these would go with my vanity light fixture but the lighting is so yellow, no woman would want to use these bulbs to get dressed or put makeup on. Can't return now because I'm past 30 day window.

Be advised these bulbs are definitely on the dim side. They are good quality but we wanted the option to go to higher brightness. This was my error since it’s pretty clear in the description. If you want a vintage low light option, you’ll love these.

I purchased the 3 light version of this vanity light. I also purchased the light bulbs - 40watt, ST8 Incandescent, Dimmable Ligh Bulbs, e26/medium, (standard) base as suggested on the website. The light bulbs are to long for this fixture!! I contacted costumer service and they said to bad. Return them which will cost you!!! I mentioned that the website directed me to purchase these light bulbs and therefore it was their mistake - not mine. Oh well, to bad. I then asked to speak with her superior, no problem. She hung up!!!! Not great constumer service. I like Wayside products but have always had trouble with attitude and poor service from customer service. Makes one think about further purchases!!!! Beware!

There's no reason these bulbs need to be dimmable. They give off extremely low light. They were recommended for purchase with a ceiling light we put in our primary bedroom. It's almost like having NO light at all. Installing the ceiling light was a big job that took my husband several hours so it was impractical to return these items. We'll have to live with what it is.

These are more on the yellow orange side. If you want brighter lighting you may want something else. I like these for night time. I can leave the light on for my mom, and it is great for mood lighting. I may update this review when I am able to change out to dimmable switch.

Bought these to go with the new sconces. They give off just the right ambience I was looking for. I love the look of the old fashioned lighting. Definitely recommend these and I’m going to purchase more for other lamps that I have as well. I also have to say that the pricing was great. There were 4 to the pack. Good value for your wallet which today is hard to say. They really give the new sconces a lovely glow as well. I ordered the 40 watts but I’m glad to see they come in the other wattage as well. They have the old fashioned look I love. I definitely recommend this purchase for any of your lighting needs.

These were purchased for the lights above the kitchen center island.

The few that arrived unbroken looks neat - like old style bulb. However four(4) boxes of 3 bulbs each arrived with at least 2 of 3 bulbs broken / shattered. The glass bulbs were in a boxes that contained no packing material. Of course most all of them shattered in shipping. And these we in 3 separate deliveries so it was not a one-truck mistake. Order other brand bulbs at the same time and they were packaged with padding and arrived all fine.

Bought A Fixture Without Enough Bulbs...

Shipment was delayed, but was worth the wait. The light fixture came from a different retailer, but only had 4 of 6 needed bulbs. It was difficult finding the same bulbs in stock anywhere, but Lowes website said it could send them to a local store within a few days. And at a the same cost as the original vendor, but without shipping cost. They were shipped from the manufacturer's warehouse, not Lowes, so it took a few days longer to appear at Lowes, but they did arrive intact and perfectly matched the original bulbs.

I ordered only 4 pcs of this item and instead 4 boxes or more were delivered and I was charged about a hundred dollars. I was just so disgusted with what was going on and I no longer complained. At this point these bulbs are just lying loose in my house, with me not caring what happens to them! This is the second time Wayfair sent me about the same number for which I spent time doing the returning process and wrapping the items for return. This time, I was just fed up with the inefficiencies of Wayfair and having to go through the returning process again! So, a rating for these bulbs? It’s a zilch because it’s causing a mess in my house, with me not wanting to place it anywhere in my house!
