Ordered over a week ago & still waiting. Won't ever order from lowes again. They are from the stone age.

We have returned these lights for 3 reasons. The color is not a warm Amber but rather a blue. The spacing of the lights was to far apart fro our application and you could not adjust the color. Dimer was the best feature and it was fiar at best.

great lights

I love that you can plug one strand into another. I wrapped electrical tape around the plug connection to keep it secure. We switched from solar lights to the electrical ones so that we can control when they go on and off. The color of the lights are great and are not bright white. There is a dimmer and a timer in the remote which are both great features AND one remote controls them all. So we have backup remotes and extra batteries if something happens to this one

Works so far.

This is the third set of string lights I have purchased in the last year. The first one was similar to this one but stopped working after one year--it was in the transformer (sealed) unit, so nothing could be done (tossed the whole thing). The second one was a Westinghouse, which I thought counted for something. I couldn't tell from the ad but it had no on-off switch, and adding one would cost half the price of the whole light set. So, this is the third try. So far, this unit does what it claimed. The only problem is it has glass bulbs (not revealed in the ad), so a negative. Another negative is its transformer is too close to the end of the lights, so it will be exposed to the elements. I just purchased a 10 ft. outdoor extension cord ($10) to allow the transformer to be located away from the lights and out of the elements. The unit works under these conditions. The question is will it work for more than 1 year from now?

remote control is great!

i hated turning on and off my string lights by unplugging them. i also needed more length to go around my yard. these string lights were perfect for both! A+

I bought this for the ability to dim lights. Have this daisy chained to another non-remote string light set from the same brand. The remote works about 50 feet away which comes handy when it's cold out.

Best outdoor lights

Love these lights! They seem really durable and look great outside on our deck. I love the remote and option to dim them. The remote works from inside and does remember the setting you had it on. They do not seem to attract flies to the lights. We did buy the kit to go along with them. The kit came with everything you need to hang them. Get these lights for your deck or patio, you will wish you did it sooner.

Header and overview completely different..

In the header states remote is 265W and it overview states " The dimmer max wattage is rated at 150-Watt, so it can handle up to 5 Newhouse Lighting 48 ft. LED string light sets (Model: CSTRINGLED18)." Also in the overview states "Each string light with LED bulbs consumes 30-Watt total or 1-Watt per bulb" which indicates 30 bulb sockets 1 W X 30W equals 30 bulbs if my math is anywhere near correct.. Only has 15 bulb sockets which should be 15W. I needed them for a get together so I will not be sending them back but not as advertised at all..

The spacing of the bulbs is too great . Only 15 builds over 48 ft. Other manufacturers have tighter spacing as I had expected.
