This table is very sturdy, heavy and can take a beating. My husband bought this for his shop and has exceeded his expectations.
Very nice workmanship
Excellent steel table for the price
I needed a heavy duty table to mount a bender to. This table has a one quarter inch thick steel plate top which is ideal for mounting a bender or any other heavy tool. Its legs are 3" x 3/16" thick steel angles with 4-1/2" x 4-1/2" x 1/8" thick bolting plates on the bottom with multiple holes for different applications. Framing the perimeter of the legs at the top and at 7" above the floor are 3" x 1-1/4" x 1/8" thick steel channels. There is also a steel channel support beam located under the center of the top. In the photographs the welds on the legs and channels are located on the outside of the structure and are short horizontal connections. On the table I received, the welds are long vertical connections located on the inside of the legs and channels. The quality and amount of welding is substantial making it a very strong table, which was a good thing because it arrived strapped to a pallet standing on its side. The table comes with a steel connection structure welded under the top for a drawer. I didn't get the drawer because I was afraid it would interfere with bolting to the top. I soon discovered the connecting structure positions the drawer a few inches down from the top and it doesn't interfere with bolting. I considered ordering the steel and having a welder make a similar table for me. The steel alone was over $500 and to pay a welder to cut and weld the pieces another $500 or more.
Park a dump truck on it!
Very heavy duty table! we use it in our machine shop to put large parts on it to be machined.

Frequently Asked Questions
What factors should I consider when choosing a desk for a home office?
Consider the desk size, storage needs, material, and ergonomic design to ensure comfort and productivity.
How can I maximize space with a small desk?
Use vertical storage solutions, organize cables, and keep only essential items on the desk to maximize space.
Is it better to have a desk with or without drawers?
It depends on your storage needs. Drawers offer built-in storage, while a desk without drawers may offer more legroom and a cleaner look.
What are the optimal desk dimensions for a home office?
The desk should be at least 32 inches (81 cm) deep for a slim monitor and about 39 inches (99 cm) wide for ample working space. The standard height is about 30 inches (76 cm).
How can I use different interior design styles together?
Juxtaposing different styles, such as placing an old-fashioned desk next to a modern chair, creates a visually interesting space. Maintaining a balance between styles is key.
What are the ergonomic considerations for a home office desk and chair?
The desk height should be approximately 30 inches (76 cm), with enough space under the desk for your legs — at least 24 inches (61 cm) for a desk chair with legs. For a chair with castors, a clearance space of 28 inches (71 cm) from the desk's edge is recommended.
How much space is required for a comfortable desk chair?
A chair with legs needs around 28 inches (71 cm) from the nearest desk edge, while a swivel chair requires more space due to its mobility.
What is the ergonomic height for a desk chair?
The seat of a desk chair should be about 18 inches (46 cm) high, with adjustable armrests for lateral and height movement.
What are the key measurements for ergonomic furniture design?
Work surfaces should be about 36 inches (91 cm) high, with at least 8 inches (20 cm) of legroom under the work surface, and office chairs should provide 28 inches (71 cm) of space for legroom.
