Heavy duty. Like that it's heavy and stable. Alittle confusing to build at first but once ur start everything flows.

Don’t hesitate to purchase this! Really solid. Very well made. Not difficult to assemble. Love it. Perfect for our pizza oven, propane tank and plenty of butcher block area to assemble the pizzas and have plenty of storage.

Tabletop scratches and dents

The top of this table is very soft and scratches easily. Due to the shiny treatment, the scratches are white and very obvious. We have had the island for less than a month and the surface is scratched and dented.

Great other than one aspect

Great other than one screw for the add on middle shelf was torqued way too much and needed to drill it out

Defective island, damaged parts, useless

Received defective island, sent wrong repair parts directly from Seville. The screws preinstalled at the factory on the legs were over-tightened, which prevents removal to add the additional shelf I purchased with the island. Seville Classics sent a replacement leg which was too tall, by several inches (I currently have it balanced precariously on three blocks. The butcher block tabletop has several small gouges and the stainless steel has numerous scratches. The island cannot be used for its intended purpose as after weeks/months of waiting for Seville Classics, I have damaged parts and no way to fix it. It is unsafe and tips over. I have written to Seville for a new island to be sent free of charge. I continue to wait for a response. Very disappointed and out a lot of money.

High Quality Work Station

The table is very versatile and can be used as a standing desk, art work station, kitchen island, extra counter space, etc. The possibilities are endless! I got mine arrived in excellent quality and pretty easy to assemble. I opted for the additional shelf. The quality is extremely good. I would recommend this product as it may not fit in further places that I live as a kitchen island but has many other options to be used in other rooms of my place(s) in the future.

This is really a solid piece for extra surface area and storage in a kitchen, even a workshop. It was easy to put together, helped to have two people.

Would completely recommend as a kitchen addition

Very nice addition to our kitchen and has freed up our counter space. With an infant in the house, this unit fits all the new appliances for our child (sterilizer, bottle warmer, toaster oven) and allows us to have our counter space back. The block is laminated, so there’s no worry about water on the wood and there is plenty of room with the one shelf for taller appliances (blenders/stand mixers). The drawers are also huge, we can store bottles, plates, bibs…. The list goes on.
