I ordered four of these from Home Depot and one from Amazon since HD didn't have enough in stock....

I ordered four of these from Home Depot and one from Amazon since HD didn't have enough in stock. Two of them came with the arms missing, one came broken, and one had a ice cream sandwich wrapper stuck inside it. Overall the can lights met my needs, but Home Depots quality control is awful. I would buy these in store if you can so you can check them out first.

Great recessed lights for 5 1/2" ceiling beams

I went out of my way to find these recessed lights for my basement ceiling. The height is just right for 2x6 (1 1/2 x 5 1/2 actual) ceiling beams. The installation is easy with connectors inside the power box. Note: you MUST also purchase the correct trim which is what connects the bulb socket and the fixture. My only negatives about the product is they are not stocked and need to be ordered online. Also, the price is double the price of the same fixture in a 6" diameter!

Great product for 4x6 beam ceiling

I needed some can lights to fit into an existing exposed 4x6 beam ceiling that I was drywalling. These little guys fit in perfectly, very easy to install. The connectors on this unit are the easiest thing to connect and the whole installation process takes only a couple of minutes per light.

good choice for cramped spots

I needed a fixture like this for a spot in a bathroom where the air conditioning unit in the attic above made a normal depth fixture impossible. Worked fine.
